Everything is excellent, Hotel is quite and comfortable. Rooms are clean. Only thing was the work going at reception area, but that was not loud too. Very near and walkable distance to retail park and has excellent canal walkways.

Great place for an overnight stay.

Great place for an overnight stay. Convenient location. Room facing the water was quiet & comfortable, and had a great night's sleep.. Check-in was friendly but rather slow (15 mins) with 2 people ahead of me, even though I'd completed the forms prior to my arrival. Car park is paid (£6) - not free as advertised on the Hotel.com site - this was introduced in January apparently. Generous breakfast although an issue with the toasting machine, but the staff were very helpful in trying to resolve it (although it was still burning one side!). Would definitely stay again if I was working in the area.

I booked here for a work trip and saw it was 4* with a spa, everything is completely dated and it felt like a suped up Travelodge rather than a plush spa hotel. Thin and crispy towels in the room, spa was more of a council leisure center vibe. Staff were lovely though.
