Decent experience. Disappointed in the size of the room, smaller than advertised. Hot breakfast was ok, but typically running out by near the end of the breakfast service. Also huge line for breakfast every morning, but that was well communicated. Self park was a pain to get in and out of.

Honest review

The check-in and out process was good. They offer shuttle service if you decide to use offsite parking. This was a new experience for me; I guess gone are the days when you got free parking and quality food. The breakfast was free but nowhere near the standard or service you would expect. I think they can highly improve on that. One plus point is that they have larger windows to view the falls, which is amazing. You will love the view, and the rooms are still good. Overall, if you are Gen Z, you will be happy, but if you're more into 90s Hollywood, you might not like it.

The room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable. Saying that the rooms were a bit dated and we were disappointed with the breakfast. We only live 45 mins from here but decided to stay the night for the Ice Wine Event. A friend insisted on this hotel for the breakfast and after experiencing it we will stay at a different hotel and have breakfast elsewhere. The Keg is no longer at the hotel and we decided to have dinner at STK. After reviewing the menu we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Out of principle we could not eat at an establishment that had fish and chips for $80 and for a Saturday night the restaurant was quite empty, the Keg was never empty when it was there. Personally would stay elsewhere even if the commute is a little further out.

Fallsview rooms are a scam

We paid for fallsview and the first two rooms they gave us looked at a building and to see the falls, you would have had to be sitting in the far corner. We were about ready to walk out. They said they'd charge us an extra $50 for an upgrade, but why upgrade when you didn't get what you paid for. After a lot of arguing, they finally gave us a room up high with a partial view so we took it. Beware, if you get anything below floor 20 you will be staring at a building. We paid almost CDN$300 a night to look at a building, but finally got changed. In the end, to get a proper fallsview, it would have cost well over CDN$400 a night. Keep in mind this was midweek in January!!
