We just returned from Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun as a family of five (2 adults, 2 kids under 5, and one grandparent). Let’s get the only negative out of the way: the showers in both rooms wouldn’t fully shut off and dripped constantly. Maintenance should fix that. Everything else was excellent — and we’d absolutely return. We booked a family suite (two connecting ocean-view rooms). Spacious, comfortable, and perfect for early bedtimes. The Kids Club (starts at age 3) was a major reason we chose this resort. It did not disappoint. The staff were fantastic, we felt completely comfortable leaving our kids there, and the small water park was a huge hit. The beach was calm, swimmable, and beautiful — ideal for young kids. Beach service was outstanding (thank you, Chantal!). Pools are spread across the property with shallow ledges and kid-friendly areas. Food was great. Il Contoy was our favourite for all meals. The steakhouse (shout out to Alan), Italian, and Teppanyaki were also excellent. Book restaurants when you arrive. Service throughout the resort was warm, attentive, and especially kind to children. Evening entertainment was enjoyable without being overwhelming. Overall: easy, relaxing, family-friendly luxury. Fix the showers and it’s near perfect. Would absolutely return.

Very clean! The scent inside Themis resort is absolutely amazing!! I am very big on cleanliness and love when a resort has such an inviting scent. The resort is not large but has everything needed. The buffet restaurant is not as large as other larger resorts but has a nice variety. The other restaurants require reservations and had to wait in line to make these reservations at checkin. Didn’t take all that long. If you are a beach person this resort has the clearest beautiful turquoise waters. Very pleasant family resort. The coffee cafe made the best Lattes!!! Thank you for a beautiful experience.

The staff was extremely unreasonable. I was celebrating my birthday and paid for an ocean view king suite however they stuck me in a garden view room. After complaining, they did not offer any accommodations at the time. I was completely uncomfortable and underwhelmed by the quality and cleanliness of the room as well as the staff’s effort to accommodate. I canceled my reservation after only one night and still have not received any refund. The front desk supervisor claims “there’s nothing they can do” even though another employee informed me that I would receive a prorated refund for my one nights stay. I honestly hated my experience at this property, wouldn’t recommend. Not sure how they have such a high rating.

It was all great , very attentive staff and friendly. We had everything we needed at all times. Breakfast buffet was very good, had everything you could want. There will be a line to enter. Pool servers were busy but always asking if we needed anything. Plan on early rising if you want to claim a prime sun lounger. Towels start appearing on the lounges around 730. Restaurants were good, but there is room for improvement. King bed was very comfortable. Linens and towels are good quality. Ocean view was fantastic.

The resort is nice and has nice amenities. The one negative I would say has to do with food. You have to make reservations at night for the restaurants and most are already booked. The other issue with food is that there are no real options after breakfast to back on something for kids you basically have to wait until 11:30/12 to order food

The resort was gorgeous! Beautiful scenery! The rooms were big, spacious and very clean and the staff was very friendly as well. The food was fantastic!!!!
