The Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun resort was amazing! It was immaculate and the staff were always right there to make sure you had what you need whether it's a drink, snack, or a towel. The dining options were exquisite with something for every taste. The only draw back, and nothing the resort could prevent, was the sargassum in the water. It was a bit disappointing as we were expecting the crystal blue water, but the beaches were kept clear of it so it didn't smell if you wanted to lay out on the beach. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

In the past we have stayed next door at the Hyatt Ziva . Was under the impression that the Grand Fiesta Americana was going to be on same level within Hyatt Ziva , but that was not the case . It was a big downgrade . Unfortunately the property is outdated. had a glass from 9th floor balcony fall on to 2nd floor balcony . Thank god nobody got hurt . Grand fiesta Americana needs a major renovation . The staff was great and the food was great , just too bad the property has seen its better days .Also think it’s a tough time of the year for the Cancun area , being it’s scorching hot and seaweed is terrible . We love Cancun , and the rest of the Maya riviera . So will have to stay elsewhere next time .

I liked staying in this hotel it was really clean, service is 100000/10 personal is super friendly, food was ok only bad thing about it is that you need reservation to dine in the restaurants you will like, and buffet was a little limited so you may want to eat at the restaurants instead. Steakhouse, Italian, Gourmet Tacos and Joya restaurant were amazing food was delicious. Pools are clean, my room was amazing they even gave me an upgrade because I was celebrating my boyfriends birthday, drinks were great and the night life at the hotel was a little bored, I guess because it is a family hotel. There was not much to do. There is a night club but didn’t really like it much because of the music and the sport bar close at 11 pm. But general I will give this hotel 8.5/10 and I will recommend this place to families amazing place for you to enjoy with your kids.
