The overall experience of the RIU PALACE COSTA MUJERES ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT. Check-in was easy. The room was clean and spacious beautiful pool, beautiful grounds and well kept all the restaurants are exceptionally great. I’m checking in the groundskeepers, housekeeping, pool staff restaurants and servers is tremendous stellar. I would recommend this resort to anyone that is looking for a great experience in grand vacation.

We had a great time at this resort. Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly, service is great! The resort is beautiful with lots of green area, beach was clean, water beautiful turquoise. I enjoyed having palms on the beach instead of umbrellas. Food was delicious, variety is great even for picky eaters. Highly recommended!

The staff were amazing, and housekeeping did an amazing job. The building however seemed old, and poorly built. Rooms were bland and lacked character. -Tile coming off in pool outside the room. -Private pools lacked privacy. -Paint peeling off everywhere. -Only one nightstand and limit outlets to plug into. Resort is poorly laid out. -Limited bathrooms around pool area. -Limited shade areas on the beach. -Small passageways to common areas. Food was good, but not great. We stopped drinking mixed drinks because the lacked alcohol and were very poorly made. +Staff were incredible, friendly, and responsive. +Beach was well kept, and beautiful. +Check-in was smooth. +The square common area coffee stand was a nice place to relax.

Friendly English speaking staff. Lots of activities even on rainy or cool days. Plenty of food options for sit down dinners. You won’t be disappointed. Of note, free airport transfer made the trip stress free.

Food was generally mediocre/cold often. Room service limited—I got a salad which had a live worm in it. Gross. Also-Not offered the free shuttle because I booked via Travelocity. Should have modern smart tvs by now so we could log into streaming services.

Hotel is nice and nice selection of alcohol for all inclusive, much better than expected especially compared to other all inclusives I’ve stayed at. There were far more children than I expected especially babies and toddlers. I think the bed was the worst. There were so many springs in the bed that after 4 days I have the worst backache.

Overall 6/10 stay. IMO, the resort needs some updating/sprucing up. The grounds are meticulously maintained, but the rooms is where some of that attention needs to be. Our room had blood on the bathroom wall, half used conditioner and lotion bottles. Water leaked continuously from the shower out onto the main floor. None of the restaurants take reservations. It was chaos. We got to the steakhouse at 6:30 and they said they were no longer taking anymore guests for the night! However people that were staying at the resort, invited us to dinner with them and were able to add us 2 to their reservation after 8p. The food, all over the resort, overall 7/10. Staff was amazing. Beach is beautiful! Walked down the beach and while other resorts had piles of sargassum, there was none insight at Riu. We checked out after 2 days and went down to Majestic Elegance which is what we’re used too. So maybe we’re just too “uppity” for this resort. Will we return, no. But that’s not to say the next person won’t have a grand time. We just have preferences as far as what we like. We tried something new and it showed us why we typically stick to what we know.

Great place to stay, staff was great they where always on there’s toes to serve everyone. Nice in every way. N all the food was good that we got to taste..would definitely go back for a get away

The room, pools, and other amenities were great, but the Riu Entertainment team, despite working extensive hours were always outstanding! In particular, Nacho and Alexis were great and we loved AquaFit!

The room was clean ,stocked, and the showers were amazing. Loved the beach access. Bed was hard and caused me to wake up painful. Many of the staff provided inaccurate information on locations on the property, like the spa and certain restaurants. Food was tasty but most of the entrees were lukewarm.
