Stayed a few days in V Hotel Lavender. Totally disappointing ! On the day I checked out, I dropped something on the floor and was looking for it under my bed. Horrid! Rows of grey dust was stuck under the beds! They never vacuum ? It took months or years to accumulate such big piles of dust ! So I have been breathing in the dust for a few days! Rooms are so tiny and the furniture is placed in awkward positions eg, one cannot reach the fridge door without climbing and kneeling on the bed. I don’t mind the room being small but why not get rid of the old, bulky and useless wardrobe ( coz you cannot open the door at ease ) like most modern boutique hotels do? Have the management people ever thought of making improvements? Have they ever monitored the work of their staff ? The hair dryer is a joke . This issue has been mentioned in Expedia so I won’t talk about it here. By the way, the frontline staff are friendly and helpful. They respond to questions and requests promptly. I just don’t understand why they have not cleaned the area under the bed for decades !

Next to MRT, very convenient.

Great overall. Great location direct link to MRT and food court next to hotel. However, wish hotel provide water bottle. They stop doing that and make you get tour own drinking water.

1st trip to Singapore

Room was smaller than i would have liked but...location was excellent. Train station (MRT) is super close, lots of eating options right outside the hotel. Housekeeping was excellent as well.

The experience at this hotel was disappointing. The pillows had an unpleasant odor, and the room itself was quite cramped. The water in the shower was excessively hot, making it difficult to use comfortably. Additionally, the air conditioning was extremely noisy, disrupting sleep. The breakfast buffet offered limited options and was rather average. The only redeeming factor was the convenient location, which made it easier to explore the surrounding area. Overall, I would not recommend staying here unless location is your only priority.

We will recommend friends for this hotel

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for two nights (January 6 & 7, 2025) after our cruiseship NCL Sky ending in Singapore. The service is excellent , as the receptionist allowed us to have early checked in @11am, instead of normal check in hour @3pm. The room in tidy and clean but a little bit small. The only inconvinent thing we were not happy with is only 2 bath towels provided, there was no small facial or mid-size towels provided.

The V is in a fantastic location ! Close to transportation and eateries! The bell staff were extremely helpful and courteous! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable!
