Unfortunately we got there late so visibility of the place was poor. The bed was uncomfortable had to flush some beetles down the toilet that were in the bedding. The bed was described as a queen but was a full. The tv was from the 80’s squiggly lines and pro or visability. There 2024 upgrade was a couple windows that they spray foamed in and a cheap smoke detector. I can go on and on. We booked for 2 nights and left after the first night asked for a refund and they refused claimed no refund. I guess customer satisfaction doesn't apply to rundown Bungalow cabins.

Place is in shambles

This place needs extensive works. For the price I paid, this was an extreme disappointment. The cabin was very run down. The front porch was completely detached from the cabin and falling apart. It hasn’t been updated since 1948. The furniture is very old, worn & filthy. It desperately needs replaced, or at the very least, CLEANED.

The furniture, beds, windows and doors are quite old. The floor is extremely sloped. We couldn't use the sofa bed in the room because it's very old. The location is very central, but the facilities are very old. The place is too expensive for what it offers.

We had a lovely time in PEI and these cottages were just what we needed. They are older buildings, and a bit rough around the edges, but they are exceptionally clean, they are making updates everywhere and you can tell that the property is cared for. Our cottage was close to the road, which was a bit loud for the kids at night. The pool was in very good condition, and we spent hours in it.

A great experience! The place had all necessary amemtities and then some. They had a clean bbq grill outside which encouraged me to get some meat from the nearby grocery and do some grilling with the family. The place was cozy and private. The access to the washer and dryer was efficient and cost $1.50 per use

From the outside the cottages could use some paint and the grass could be cut but our cottage was super clean inside and comfortsble for our family. The outdoor pool was very clean as well and my kids had fun.

Great stay, wonderful location and price. The fridge leaked and the air conditioning wasnt the greatest but everything else was great. The property could use some updating or cosmetics upgrades but the charm is there.

Tried entering my cottage In the early hours with a key before check out, without knocking or anything. I was assured it was an accident, but once again happened when I returned weeks later with my family. Quite ridiculous, and a huge invasion of privacy when paying thousands of dollars.

I stayed here for two weeks at the beginning of summer for business, and again this past week and both times, a worker tried to enter my cottage without knocking or anything while I was in bed, because there was no vehicle parked out front, before check out even came, leading me to believe the first time, weeks ago. And a different worker, was no accident at all. This second time my cottage wasnt even ready when my family got there at 3:30pm for check in despite them entering cottages in the early hours and having all day, plus a dozen workers around the property it seems, and the cottage smelled like body odor and cleaning chemicals so i couldn't even keep my kids in there until late at night. I decided to give the benefit of the doubt when we returned to Cavendish and rented again, but I wont be back after this, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Poor area closes 8pm. Totally unacceptable considering it’s summer and people have kids. Windows are very old and door had gaps in it. Bugs were getting in. Cabin pots and pans need replacing. Kitchen amenities were very limited. Cabin patio was rotted and falling apart. Shower was clean but very small.

Green Gables Bungalow Court offers a decent stay, and we'd rate it 3 stars. There were some definite positives that contributed to our family's enjoyment. The pool and play structure were certainly nice amenities, providing great entertainment for the kids. They had a blast splashing around and burning off energy. However, our experience wasn't without its issues. Upon arriving in our bungalow, we found a dresser handle broken, which was a bit of an immediate letdown. It made using that particular dresser inconvenient and suggested a lack of attention to detail in maintenance. Additionally, while the kids enjoyed the pool, it was clear it was in rough shape, showing signs of wear and tear that detracted from its overall appeal. While the location is fantastic for exploring the Cavendish area and the bungalow concept is charming, these maintenance issues did slightly dampen our stay. With a bit more upkeep on the bungalows and the pool, this could easily be a 4-star experience. It's a fine option for families, but go in with tempered expectations regarding the condition of some of the facilities.

Do not stay here . It’s like a scene of a horror movie. Cottage is so old- paint chipping , bugs , dirty dishes and filthy bbq . They don’t provide any soaps - shampoos,…. No basic necessities . The property looks abandoned - pool is dirty - grounds are unkept and most of all inside seating area was so dirty I couldn’t sit and relax - look at the picture it says it all .
