Well worth it

Enjoyed our second stay after 10 years. Room and balcony are spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast is perhaps not quite what it was before but is still very adequate. The location can’t be beaten.

Fun Visit to Hua Hin

The Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin provided us with an amazing stay. We had a basic King bed accommodation with a partial ocean view. It was a wonderful place to be. This historical campus preserves its interesting past but is also kept very much up-to-date with two large pool areas and right next to the beach. The staff was incredible, and the hospitality shown was excellent. There’s even a daycare for young families. The food selection was very good and the cocktails were well made. It is also minutes walk from great places to eat, drink, or get a spa treatment in Hua Hin proper and to visit the night market. The hotel was also very secure and well-monitored it was already a safe town.

Mixed review. The room was amazing and dpacious with an enormous bed and I had a great view overlooking the sea. The housekeeping staff and the team at breakfast were also very friendly and always greeted, but the rest of the staff were a bit stand offish, especially at the pool. I went to The Club one evening to get a coffee and something small to eat, but was told they only had a buffet and it was mostly for club members, even though the sign clearly says hotel guests welcome. It was suggested I go somewhere else, which I did and did eat again, other than breakfast, at this resort.

The hotel feels very old and in need of updating. From the paint on the walls to the furniture and the walkways, everything is cracked and chipped, needs fresh paint and repair. The pool was dirty and in desperate need of updates.

The hotel is outstanding. Feel very safe and easy walking distance to the malls and food village with loads of option. Sonkran is a blast and would recommend staying at the Centara to anyone

Excellent hotel at a great location right on Hua Hin beach! We received an upgraded room (JR Suite?) very spacious with a massive balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The 2 pools were very nice and water temperature was very refreshing but not freezing! The sea was VERY warm! Very nice beach and you can walk out quite a ways! We ate at the pool restaurant a couple of times which was very good. This was the second Centara Grand we stayed at (stayed in Pattaya as well). Highly recommended!
