Would not recommend this hotel

The neighborhood is not safe. The valet service was never outside when you pulled up. The hotel staff was not very helpful when you needed help with the valet app on your phone. They do not call the car for the guests. The elevators were not working. They did not have change for larger bills when I needed it change There is a nightclub across the street that plays music extremely loud till 2 AM

Gorgeous room. My favorite hotel in Charlotte. It made it hard to want to go out into the city because the room was that nice. The only thing I thought was strange was the bathroom had a huge window next to the bathtub and that window overlooked a day care playground facility. I think the floor to ceiling bathtub windows facing this facility would more appropriately be stained or blurred to where you can not see out/in.

This hotel easily became my favorite. If I ever travel to Charlotte again, this will be where I stay. The staff was so, so friendly. I was so impressed. Everything was BEAUTIFUL. Super chic and super clean. My only complaint were the price(s) for room service and the restaurant (Sophia's Lounge). The food was excellent, but everything was pretty expensive. For a coffee and a single mimosa, $30. If your expecting these prices, this hotel is a no brainer.

This property is absolutely beautiful! Have stayed for 2 girls weekends and could not have felt more pampered. Will stay every time I visit Charlotte. Was disappointed with the lack of shops, galleries, boutiques in the area.

Great hotel and I always stay there when I go to Charlotte. The rooms are unique and quiet. The room service breakfast is affordable, timely and really really good. The restaurant while having a minimal menu is is a nice quiet place to go for a beer and an appetizer. The library lounge is always a favorite for me and my colleagues to hang out. The fitness center is adequate and stocked with water, apples and protein bars. Overall the hotel is 5 star. Only issues is downtown Charlotte is a little sketchy especially after 6pm and you have to be aware of your surroundings always when visiting….

In our considerable travel experience there is no other hotel that is quite like the Ivey's, a "jewel box" boutique hotel in Charlotte, NC. The decor is French and designed with unique eye-catching, artistically quirky furniture and accessories. We love the immaculate beautiful rooms, high quality linen and walk-in showers. Patrons can take the stairway down a floor directly into Sophia's. This playfully-designed bar/restaurant has a welcoming, warm vibe and is packed with extraordinarily-designed and alluring overly-pillowed sofas and unholstered chairs. The entire hotel is a work of art! The Ivey's friendly and efficient restaurant and hotel staff keep this stunning property clean and well-maintained. Kudos to everyone who makes this hotel a destination to remember and enjoy whenever we have the chance.
