Last minute choice and we were pleased. It's a cute little rustic place. The owners and staff are nothing but than gracious and so helpful. The restaurant also has great service and the food is good. Definitely a great place to unwind.

Finding accommodations to watch our grandson play at Dreams field during HOF induction week wasn’t easy. But thankfully we found this place! It was overloaded with hospitality and old time charm. Sabina and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

Very Enjoyable Experience

We were very, very happy with our stay at The Lake House. When we got there, Sabine was holding the door open and asking if we needed help with our luggage. The room was spotless as was the rest of The Lake House. Friendly staff, beautiful views of the lake. They were very accomodating of our dog who had a great time as well! A very enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately our rooms were on the 3rd floor and being an old hotel the stairs are steep, narrow and a little precarious. The rooms had air conditioners but the common areas were almost unbearable.

We were in NY for a baseball tournament and stumbled upon this gem. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the food was excellent, and the lake view was absolutely breathtaking. Great entertainment I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place—it’s truly a hidden treasure. If there’s one small suggestion, a touch of modernizing could enhance the experience, as long as it doesn’t take away from the charm and history that make it so special. Thank you for everything Lake House for an unforgettable family experience
