A very happy 70th!

The staff did everything they could to help me celebrate my birthday with my three daughters! They even sang(!) and were quick to bring water and extra towels to our very spacious room. They also were able to upgrade our room so that we had the river right outside our window. This was a great location and we will very definitely return!

I had an amazing stay at the Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown! From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. The front desk staff was exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. A special shoutout to Lucas, the greeter at the front of the hotel. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always there to help. He assisted with our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival. If you ever stay here, make sure to ask for Lucas if you need anything—especially recommendations on where to go in Chicago. He definitely knew his stuff and gave us great suggestions! His hospitality truly stood out, and he deserves a raise for the level of service he provides. The hotel itself is in a perfect location, with stunning views and well-maintained rooms. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!
