The hotel property is a little tired but that's part of its "iconic" charm. Food in the restaurant was good but the service was spotty, at least at breakfast (ate there three mornings in a row). I had to ask twice to get things I ordered and it was hard to get my server's attention when it was time to pay.

Arrived early by train. We were able to check our bags, grabs some water and cookies and then head out for our adventures before the cubs game. Check in was easy. Staff was helpful with directions to L. We were even able to check our bags after check out so we didn’t have to take them around town with us for our last day before going home on the train.

We weren't in our rooms except to sleep basically. But the beds and comforters made sleep come easy. Thank you for actually caring about comfort. Sleep is so important. Also appreciated the early check in.

This is an attractive Boutique Hotel set up in an historic building. I don't believe it was a hotel building originally so the rooms are modern but the public space is take advantage of tbe historical architecture. You couldn't ask for a better location in the loop by ttansportation, by Michigan Avenue by the river and by the lake. All easy walks.

Having stayed at all of the Staypineapple hotels in WA and OR, my daughter and I have set out to stay at all of the Staypineapple properties. This one was no exception, to the exceptional service we have been accustomed to receiving. Luxurious suite. Our Everything person even brought a microwave to our room when we requested to heat up the most amazing Italian meal we'd ever had at nearby Quartino's.

It was the perfect location to our plans for the weekend. They upgraded us as it was our anniversary. The cookies were a nice touch and coffee mug that I use everyday at work!! Will stay again and will recommend highly!
