We found bed bugs in our room. They reimbursed us a percentage and changed our rooms. You would have thought they would have fully reimbursed when bed bugs are found.

I loved our stay at the Hyatt Place! The staff were incredible! They were prompt and attentive to our needs. The hospitality was the best I’ve ever received at a hotel. Just awesome!

We came in and the staff was cordial and pleasant. Check in was a breeze. We got to the room and the carpet did not look like it was vacuumed properly. I opened the sofa bed and there was a linen sheet, looked like it was previously used. That was disappointing. I went down to the front desk to tell them of the used sheet, front desk just apologized and no follow up was offered. It was until the next day when I asked housekeeping if she can remove the sheet from the sofa bed. There was no way I would be touching that. The housekeeping removed it and placed it on the bed, I was so disgusted by that. As housekeeping was tidying up our room, she broke the towel bar and told me that she has to tell front desk about it. Front desk said that maintenance leave at 3 so they will come before that which did not happen. I had to follow up again, one of the staff was rude and said to me that maintenance will not stay behind for that. It was eventually fixed after 4pm. The only satisfactory comment I will give was the hot breakfast.

My room was nice in appearance but it was chilly so I turned the heat up. My child was in one bed and I got in the other bed, but once I tried going to sleep I got really itchy on my back so I got up turned the light on and it was two bed bugs. I called the desk to let the staff know and he told me he was the only one available so he couldn’t leave. It was almost 1 AM so I had to wake my 3 year old up go downstairs. He said they were fully booked over the phone, but once I got downstairs he said he found another room and told to contact the GM in the morning. I spoke with her and she was very understanding but also told me that they would have to investigate and inspect the room. She was nice and told me that this happened to her to n Vegas before.

Location

Our stay was very good. The hotel was in a central location, close to major roadways. Nice and clean. There is a bar with a limited food menu. But, I cannot say enough about the staff. There was confusion at our check in and a very nice gentleman named Praise sorted the issue out quickly. He made changes to accommodate us. Actually, all the staff were very helpful during our short stay.

The room was spacious, bed was comfortable bathroom was large ( however, it had no fan-my only complaint). The breakfast was great with a good variety of food and was kept well-stocked.

Cozy hotel

Comfy room and excellent service. The hotel was right off the interstate. The bathroom was decent size but the toilet area is a tight fit. They should have made it with more space.
