There's only one working elevator from the main lobby and one working elevator all the way in the back of the building. This caused long wait times just to get in and out. Upon entering our room, I noticed it had an odd smell. I'm not sure how to describe it besides odd. It definitely wasn't a fresh-lysol type of smell, that's for sure. When my husband lifted the toilet seat, there were already dried stains under the seat. This made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the room. Walls here are very thin. You can hear the guests next door using the bathroom. Front desk staff was warm and welcoming. There is no welcome letter or any type of welcome pamphlet to explain any amenities or give you an idea of the area. Overall, there are plenty of better options nearby. I won't be booking this hotel again.

Great for the price and a reasonable walk to Disneyland. The staff were friendly, the rooms clear, and the lobby decor adorable for the holidays. They were undergoing renovations which made getting to the disabled parking difficult.

We chose to stay at Hotel Lulu because of its close, flat, and easy 15-minute walk to Disneyland. The hotel advertised that it had been updated, and since we arrived before check-in time, we were happy the front desk had a room ready for us. The staff were very nice. However, we were surprised to learn that parking was $32 per night with in-and-out privileges, something that wasn’t mentioned when I booked. I even went back to check, and there was no information about it. But at that point, we just had to pay it. The lobby was cute and modern, but things went downhill from there. The elevator to our sixth-floor room was extremely slow. The room itself was small, the bedding was thin, the beds were uncomfortable, and the bathroom had very poor lighting, making it difficult to get ready. The walls were also very thin; we could hear everything, from the plumbing to a crying baby at 5 a.m. so getting good rest was a challenge. There is also no free breakfast offered, which was disappointing. Overall, I think there are much better hotel options in the area with better amenities, comfort, and value. I do not recommend Hotel Lulu.

We have stayed here twice now and enjoyed both stays. Rooms are spacious and clean. .63 mile walk to Disney, which feels long at the end of the day BUT well worth it for the price. Takes us about 14 minutes walking at a decent pace. Staff is helpful and the welcome drinks sure don’t hurt.

Our stay at Lulu was perfect! Staff was extremely helpful and kind. The room worked out perfectly for us. 3 girls on a trip to Disneyland - the proximity was great! I'm 70 and didn't find it too far to walk back to after a LONG day in the park. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. The only negative was that they charged for a bottle of water in the room.
