If you love a place with history this is the place for you. It has a comfy room bed, and everything else. There is a place to get coffee and pastries right on the corner. I had a good stay at Hollywood Historical Hotel.

It was a nice cozy little hotel for my wife and I as we spent a week in Anaheim for Disney. The location was perfect walking distance to the parks and many different food places. The hotel was nice and clean and had a pool, there was some inconvenience with things due to maintenance but we were overall happy with our stay.

Overall the hotel did its job. 10-15 min walk to the parks Stayed 4 nights with my teenager daughters Upon arriving to the property I was greeted by an overly happy clerk who was the bearer of bad news that the hotel was undergoing “needed maintenance” on the pipes and the water was going to be off between the hours of 11AM and 4pm my ENTIRE stay. I was exhausted from my trip when she asked me if that was going to be an inconvenience and I was so flustered by this information I said I wasn’t sure (we planned to be in the parks for 3 days but I had hoped to have a working room with water to come back to during the day if needed) She automatically offered to comp one day of parking ($32 per night parking I might add) I accepted and continue to check in as I had already paid for the room at this point. The water indeed was off between those hours during my stay and it was an I convenience as we did return to the hotel for breaks during the day. Upon check out I did express this to the front desk who ended up comping all of my parking for the 4 nights. I didn’t ask for anything further as the water was back on after 4. I wish this would’ve been expressed before check in giving me an opportunity to book another property. The laundry facility is also not in service which I wish would’ve also been expressed to me before booking as I planned to use it per the site saying there was a facility. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again

Overall, the hotel experience was alright but there were a few inconveniences that really affected our stay. 1. Water was off 11 am - 4 pm due to maintenance without prior knowledge or a heads up. 2. The pricing was different from what was listed on Hotels.com, they added parking fees $32.50 PER night and a $150 refundable deposit that was not stated prior. The staff were very nice but the overall quality of the hotel was not good.

The hotel was very clean the room was really spacious. The staff were friendly it is close to Disneyland. Overall would recommend staying here especially with it being so close and for the price per night it is very nice. Only downside was the parking fee as it was $38 for the one night I stayed.

Front desk did not offer complementary deinks at check-in like they did to everyone else. Phone in room did not work so when we meeded something we had tio go downstairs and let them knows, water was shut off everyday from 10am-4pm due to construction which should have been posted when making reservations. Laundry they hace was broken. These are amenities I was looking for. Only 1 entrance st the front due to construction so parking in the back and having to walk all the way around after a long day at Disneyland with 3 kids was not easy. Rooms were avrage, very small elevators.

The only thing i liked about this place was the complimentary vodka and lemonade drink. This hotel needs some work. The pool was supposed to be set at 80 degrees but felt like 60 on a breezy night. I booked my stay months ago and if i would have been informed that the water was going to be turned off from 11pm-4pm i would have booked somewhere else. Not any information about the shut off until i read the small sign on the desk. So when i questioned it, the front desk associate had to change my room to the outside building since i told them i would still need water at those times. DO BETTER Hotel LULU.
