Shower curtain was broke, the microwave glass tray that is supposed to turn it on, was clearly too large for the microwave and did not fit in there properly whatsoever. The dishwasher was completely full with dirty dishes from I assume the previous people that had reserved that room before us. And despite having guest Wi-Fi, which will go in and out constantly. I couldn’t even use my regular cell phone service and then majority of the hotel suite. There was absolutely no signal whatsoever in these locations. And I guess lastly, icing on the cake was even though we were clearly told multiple times that our checkout was at 11 AM. For some reason, one of your maids decided to likely tap on the door with a key, not say one word, and then proceeded to enter our hotel room at around 10:15 AM. While we are clearly packing up and getting ready for the day. Not only did she startle both myself and my son, but also my son was in the living room area drying off of the shower and his underwear playing his Xbox while I, his mother, was taking her shower. Not once has this ever happened in the history of hotel, reservations and days that I’ve ever had in my lifetime. Very unprofessional, very rude, and obviously very unnecessary. Made service should not be entering rooms that are occupied until after checkout time. I mean that’s just good “hospitality” and common sense! Never enter a guest room, without announcing who you are and giving your guest a chance to say something.

The Sonesta was ok for what I was in Cincinnati for ( which was the Jazz Fest. The only thing I was hoping is that they serve a FULL breakfast and they don’t (only some grab & go stuff. Also they don’t have LATE checkout which was really needed because Saturday’s show was delayed due to lightning, so we didn’t get home until 2:30am.

Very clean and easy to find. Great location, close to all major attractions but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. I stayed with 3 children and had no issues at all. We even had the pool to ourselves. Will likely stay again if in the area due to location and price!

The room type I had reserved wasn’t available when I arrived, so they gave me an upgraded suite for no extra charge, and it was truly beautiful. Separate living room, very clean bathroom, nice kitchenette, very comfortable king bed, and an electric fireplace. Both the property itself and the customer service are highly recommended.

There are are a few areas in our room that need to be cleaned better but the sheets and towels are sparkling. The suite we have has a full sized refrigerator, dishes, glasses, flatware and a frying pan. The bath amenities are soothing. This is out first time staying at Sonesta Suites but it won’t be our last.

Worst Hotel Experience EVER!

I checked in at 11 p.m. and, upon entering the room, I found a tube of mascara on the floor. When I used the bathroom, the toilet made a loud noise. I was too tired to deal with it that night. The next morning, maintenance came in. He attempted to fix it and then ran from the room, stating it was fixed. That was not the case. My room was the middle room of three conjoined rooms. Both occupants in the conjoining rooms were basically in my room. One neighbor, who smoked the entirety of my stay, was entertaining women (yes, plural) of the oldest profession - I heard their negotiation of rates. The other neighbor was hosting a party. At 11:30 p.m., I called the front desk to complain about the noise from the party. I was informed they were "on it." That proved false, as the party continued past 1 am. When I checked out, the desk clerk asked about my stay. I expressed my disappointment. She was kind and acknowledged that they were sorry to hear of my issues during my stay. She did comp one night. However, there was a lack of motivation to address concerns. Another guest was behind me when she expressed that it is challenging to address smoking in rooms. He pointed out that I had TOLD her the exact room number who was smoking. Guest who appeared to be living there on a semi-permanent basis had taken their lawn chairs and were sitting outside, next to the "no smoking" signs, and were smoking - no action was being taken by staff. NEVER again will I say at this location.

The photos of the room in the app made it look WAY nicer than it actually was. It was dumpy and stained. The living room furniture had cig stains, the “leather” finish on the couch was coming off.. the staff looked at me like I was dumb when I asked for an ice bucket. They were rude and said my room had a full fridge/freezer so I had to use that ice. There was no ice made so we just used the freezer ice tray. The floor was peeling up and my daughter (3) kept tripping. Didn’t complain as they were already rude.
