For the price this is not a good hotel. Pools abandoned, bathrooms lack maintenance with tile falling, inflexible with transportation. The restaurant has fallen in quality since last time I was there 4 years ago and there are no other options. Its a nice location isolated and quite with nice hot spring pools, but not worth the very high price. Plus now they charge extra for kayaks and spa.
The property was unique in its location and structure. We enjoyed the thermal baths, the hiking, the guided tour of the Ventisquiro Colgante and the delicious meals (they were able to accommodate our Vegan lifestyle.
What er perfect stay - incredible place with warm spring pools fantastic scenery and calm. The hotel personal are fantastic and to my big surprise so was the restaurant.
Absolutely worth at least a couple of nights.
The hotel is in a beautiful setting but in order to get there you have to park in a packed car park and take a boat. We naively thought this would be on demand as in other similar hotels but it isn’t and it is very infrequent. If you miss the 3.30 ferry you have to wait until 7pm. We just made it from the airport on arrival but the next day we left on the first boat at 9.30 to visit the national park - we were rushed all day while doing our walks to the hanging glacier and got back 10 mins after the ferry left. We didn’t want to wait and agreed to pay the extortionate fee of over £80 (over $100 US). The next morning they had the audacity to say that the 9.30 boat we had booked was now full of people going on a walking trip with a hotel guide and we would have to wait until 10.15 to leave.
Breakfast was fine but dinner was very poor. There is only a 3 course set menu in the restaurant. There is a choice of 2 items for each course. We did not want meat or seafood with meat, so asked for a vegetarian choice - maybe fish. The fish we were given, (with some deep fried potato balls and no veg) was totally inedible. The second night the choice looked better but the quality of the food was poor. The meal certainly wasn’t cheap - we paid half the price for a much better meal at a very small hotel the next night.
The hotel is expensive and we felt that once you were there they just wanted to get as much more money from you as possible - there was a total lack of customer service.
Lovely respite. Good food. Comfortable bed. Lovely quiet view. We didn’t do any spa things and still loved it.

Great hotel, fantastic ( albeit remote) location. Just one real problem .... that would have been less of an issue if I had been pre-warned and planned for it. ABSOLUTELY NO PHONE SERVICE AND NO INTERNET and it's a 20 minute boat ride ( three times a day service) and a 30 minute drive to the nearest place with cell reception and 3G networks. The hotel does have a satellite phone for emergencies. Had I planned for this eventuality, I might have been able to enjoy a stress free break that this place offers in spades.

Beautiful location, but be prepared to unconnected. There is no WiFi service at this property which is a nice break from our daily routines. The only way to get to the resort is by ferry, so time your schedules accordingly with ferry pick up and drop off. It’s also over 4 hours from Coyhaique so you will need to coordinate transportation. This property has the fjord to themselves along with natural hot spring tubs. The hanging glacier is a nice hike near by, but all other activities in the area seemed to be 5-6 hours south.
A very comfortable stay in a beautiful unique area.the spas were of a high standard particularly the indoor spas which were very large.the administrative staff were friendly and helpful. They were happy to make phone calls on our behalf to help manage our trip.We saw adundant bird life and three dolphins swimming by.
Stunning place to relax! Great view, great nature!
The place is truly amazing, the food and service were great!
The thermal pools were also fantastic, we were very lucky to get sunny days so our stay was even more enjoyable! Highly recommended, just bear in mind that is place to disconnect, there is limited internet access (just one terminal) and very limited telephone connection (which being satellital is charged by the minute), also access and departure are limited if required without a cost.
If you can adapt to it, it is really great and I highly recommend it!
This hotel is something special, the only way to get to it is by boat or a pantoon plane, since there are no roads leading to the remote side of the lake it was built upon. The hotel staff was very accommodating, and the hotel facilities are nice too. They also have natural hot spring termas that are open 24 hours which are really cool to use at night and look out at the stars. They also have several activities available you can take advantage of. We did the kayaking in the morning before we left which was fun. The only thing I would change here is the restaurant. The setting is great, and the breakfast was a good (typical German style you find in Chile). However the dinner is way overpriced and you only have 2 selections for a 3 course meal. I was here with 2 other people and no one was impressed. The food was OK. Maybe we were here on an off night too. If you can eat before you get there, I would recommend based off our experience. Other than that, really great hotel!
