What an amazing stay!

What a great family getaway! We typically stay at another hotel every trip due to our picky preference of hotels, however we decided to give Sonesta a try based on numerous reviews and photos. We booked the king executive suite and we were happy campers. The only thing we wished we had was a microwave, but it wasnā€™t a deal breaker considering other great hotels we frequent rarely have one. The Nashville Tap House was yummy and there was excellent customer service from check-in to check-out. We will definitely add this location to our favorite list.

During check-in, I didn't receive the level of service I expected. The staff didn't ask for essential information, so I had to point out details like my license plate for the parking pass and my pet information. It was a bit concerning, as I wonder if these things would have been overlooked had I not mentioned them. I believe the front desk staff could benefit from additional training to ensure these details are handled without prompting. Additionally, I was disappointed by some unexpected fees, particularly the $20 per night parking charge, which wasn't clearly communicated upfront

I was expecting much more from this property, as it has a four star classification. I will say that the lobby area is clean, bright and inviting. Beyond that I struggle to find any redeeming qualities about this hotel. The parking lot did not feel safe at all. There were people hanging out in cars at all hours smoking weed-and it was dimly lighted. The room was just average and the bathroom still had hair in the shower along with small patches of mold. When I went to use the body wash provided in the shower I found that it was entirely empty. The bed had seen better days and the ā€œbanketā€ on the bed was more like a second sheet. It was also extremely noisy within the room. Not only could I hear my neighbors clearly while in the room, I could hear them all the way down the hall as I walked to the elevator. I had reservations elsewhere, but decided to book here due to a last minute deal on Expedia. If you find yourself in a similar position I hope you donā€™t make the same mistake I did.

The room was noisy, not sure if it was the thermostat or what but the room was extremely noisy. We checked in late and were extremely tired from driving from Philadelphia, PA. room 718. The stay was fair other than that we did not stay long. The room was clean and satisfactory.
