The rooms were tired and not particularly clean (beds, for example, had old stains). The fitted carpeting needs serious freshening up (the smell in the room had an unpleasant quality). The safes were not functioning. Electrical plugs were not properly affixed in the wall. Room windows looked like they haven't been cleaned for a while. Floor corridors also had an unpleasant smell. Generally, the property could do with a bit of renovation and focus on cleanliness.

The hotel needs a full scrub down. There was mold on the shower curtain, the stopper in the sink was broken and there was no vent. The bed was clean and comfy and the WiFi worked.

Comfortable room and friendly staff. Room did not get cleaned over stay. Shuttle service around town was great but had some hiccups and delays with it a couple times. Room service not available despite indications (phone button, menu for restaurant in online guide) that it would be— supposedly you can order over the phone and then go down and get it but I called and no one ever picked up. There is another Hilton (not Doubletree) several blocks away that taxi service thought I meant and dropped me off so make sure to give full name and address if being driven from airport.

Love the access to the downtown areas, a shuttle was available to the convention center. Some repairs required, the parking garage elevator is not in service, and the main entry point in from the garage has carpet damage. Rooms need ventilation in the bathrooms, moisture is building up. Check in and out was quick, friendly, and appreciated.

Amazing gem but need to polish

Staff was amazing and always willing to help. Room was comfortable but had some conditions that need to be addressed. Carpet frayed and coming up, shelf in bathroom loose and curtains didn’t slide easy. All in all the staff, service and location make any little condition of the room well worth it. Thank you

Outdated and uncomfortable stay

Very dated room was very dark needs charging ports in rooms some lamps were not working next to the bed.had to use a multistrip that was under my bed.the bath towels were mix match I had 1 very large one and 2 other totally different styles and sizes.when walking in my room it always felt like bugs were jumping on my legs and felt the same when in bed.The elevator in the parking garage was not working and the stairs smelled of urine.I will not be staying there ever again.

Rooms and halls are Beaten up

The hallways and rooms are beaten up…dark, a little musty. Had problems with the water controls in the sink, the toilet running for 10 mins after every flush and a tub that was very slow to drain after a short shower.

The elevator in the parking deck was out of order which would present a huge issue for anyone disabled, elderly, injured, with children, etc. The room was “musty” and damp, wallpaper was peeling and had previous water damage apparent. Television and remote were outdated. The view was nice, bed was… okay. As far as the area around the hotel… it is downtown Cleveland. Are you’re comfortable being in a large, urban city? If not, stay in the west side of town.
