Stayed here for a NCL cruise the next day. Location was perfect. Room had a fireplace that had a pilot light that put off more heat than the AC cooled. Than then that was a great place.

Great location - mediocre rooms

While the location is great, the rooms are dated. Our bathroom had blood stains on the floor; housekeeping came immediately and rectified, but should not have happened. The hotel bar and restaurant was great.

Room took over 4.5 hrs to get into it took the manager to get us in when he did. Room smells musty. Employee just walked into our room while we were in it saying he has to inventory the mini bar didn’t even knock on door first.

I liked that it was located on the water and within walking distance to alot of places. I did not like that we were charged everyday for amenities and the hotel did not have any amenities. It would have been nice to have a pool and or hot tub.

this was my first time staying here and I'll absolutely be back! I had a few payment issues that were completely my own fault and I was ready to be turned away or put in a cheaper room, both of which would have been understandable, but both of the staff members I talked to were incredibly understanding and willing to work with me around the issues so everything got worked out. the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view was amazing.

Average at best.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made check-in and our overall stay more pleasant. The room had a cozy touch with a fireplace, which was a nice feature and added a bit of charm. However, there were a few things that left me questioning the value for money. First, the hotel charges a $31 nightly resort fee, which seems a bit excessive given the lack of actual resort amenities. When I asked what the fee covered, I was told it was for coffee and tea in the room, gym access, and Wi-Fi—standard amenities you'd expect at any hotel. They also mentioned a record player and two-hour bike use, neither of which I found particularly appealing or worth the extra charge. Additionally, the first room we were assigned was quite dated and had a view of the train tracks, which wasn't ideal. Thankfully, they moved us to a waterside room, which was a definite improvement. Still, the overall hotel feels very outdated, and I would describe the experience as very average. In conclusion, while the staff and the fireplace were nice touches, the resort fee and dated facilities made this stay less than memorable. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're really into the retro feel and don't mind paying extra for basic amenities.
