Incredible staff, I was a little disappointed that the main building was off limits the first couple of hours due to a special event, but the awesome folks at the smaller hotel pub were terrific (even though they had a whole crew there for a wedding rehearsal). Overall great experience.

Nice brewery theme, nothing special. The shower floor is very sloped and slick when wet. We stayed 2 nights total, 1 week apart. The first night we had a dinner reservation, host was unable to locate it, ended up with a terrible table location which they would not change. Second night no reservation but it was not busy, still took a long time to get seated. Host stand seems to be very disorganized. The host was standing around the bar talking while several groups were waiting to be seated. Food was average. Servers were decent. The parking lot is quite a distance from the hotel entrance, pack light as you will be carrying everything quite a distance. Breakfast is included but does not start until at least 7am.

Why make a reservation??

I got on hotels .com a d reserved a room, got a confirmation code and was billed. Drove all the way to the hotel jist to be turned away because they said they were at capacity. Last time I use hotels.com, wasted my time and gas money.

Amazing and unique

This place is great. But cut it a little slack. This is a place for drinking beer and being drunk. So you can imagine that things get beat up pretty quickly. This place has a brewery a huge barn a restaurant outside entertainment board games you can bring your dog everything. If you can find a good price on this place stay here. It is worth it just to go to stay in the hotel.

5⭐ for a Great Hotel but 1⭐ for customer service

I had a very good experience staying at the DogHouse Hotel in Columbus. The hotel itself is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable, the ambiance is unique, and it’s a perfect place if you’re traveling with a dog. Everything was clean and well thought out. The only downside was the customer service. I checked in around 9:30 at night and the desk clerk seemed more focused on chatting with a friend or guest sitting at the bar than acknowledging me. It didn’t slow down the check-in process, but it felt a bit disrespectful to have someone casually carry on a conversation while helping a customer. The next morning, I was also yelled at by the receptionist for having my dog “too close” to the breakfast buffet. My dog was simply standing behind me, outside the dining area, while I made a plate of food. Despite those two interactions, I still had a great stay. The hotel itself is excellent and I would definitely come back. I just hope the staff training catches up to the quality of the hotel.

Great place for people who enjoy beer!

Enjoyed all the beer perks. Beer at check in and then later there was cookies and a beer between 7-9pm. Enjoyed that the hotel bar stayed open later than the restaurant. Really loved the hotel. One suggestion would be to add specific parking spaces for hotel guests only that restaurant patrons can’t park in. We came back after adventuring and had to park really far away. Then in the morning our car was all alone and far out in the parking lot.

We liked the concvienenve of it, and the fact they give you a check in / end of the day beer; however they were a few inconvenient issues with our birthday weekend stay. Our room was not ready at 4pm like we were told they it would be, which created issues with our surprise for the individual's birthday; then we were told that it would be ready very soon and we'd get a text. I never got a text, and 45 mins later I went up to the counter and our room had apparently been ready for some time. The beer taps in our room was not ready upon our entrance, and when I texted the number it took some time to get a response which told us it would be about 30 mins. We went down for dinner and 2 hours later, we still did not have the draft beer on taps, even after receiving a text asking if we needed a refill. The room it self was simply okay and definitely not worth the price. The shower was not 100% clean, they refilled the only hand soap with water, and our door was broken. While not fully upsetting, I was very disappointed as this was a costly night and a birthday present for my boyfriend.
