We just returned from a three-night stay in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay, a MGM Resort property. Prices were ridiculous. Do you think you'll have the make-it-yourself complimentary in-room coffee when you wake up? No, not unless you want to pay an exorbitant price for it, as well as for a bottle of water. They charge a ridiculously high Resort Fee, and when I ordered in-room dining, I received a super expensive cheeseburger with an “operational fee” just to deliver it, which was delivered in to-go boxes. These are just a few outrageous examples. I don’t know if anyone saw this article regarding MGM’s CEO’s apology for extortionate summer prices: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/mgm-ceo-admits-las-vegas-140000672.html. In the article, the CEO claims the prices have been adjusted, but obviously not, prices are still the same. I will never return to Las Vegas or a MGM Resort property. A complete money grab.
