This motel was great! There was a nice view of the nearby lake from the balcony. In one of the two rooms we booked, the TV didn't work, but since we only stayed there for one day it wasn't a problem, so we didn't bother to tell the front desk. The rooms were nice and clean, and the shower is good. You can also walk down to the shore and see the lake. You can rent boats and fishing equipment from the motel too.

We stayed in the cottage. Our group consisted of two moms and three boys ranging from 6-10yrs old. We were there visiting for the weekend to experience the baseball hall of fame. The property is very outdated. When we arrived it felt like someone cranked the heat up as high as possible. The upstairs was almost Impossible to sleep in. I had to open the window which had no screens on them what so ever. The bugs were entering in everywhere. We turned the heat all the way down which did not help. The second night in our stay someone entered the property dues g the night after invited. We awoke to the door ajar and the kids stating they heard someone and were frozen in fear. We immediately packed up and left the property and told the front desk of our experience. I asked if the property had outdoor cameras outside the cottage to view. She said she did not believe so but would relay the information to her manager and the owner. I let her know we felt very scared and unsafe during our stay.

This hotel is conveniently located for visiting Cooperstown and Glimmerglass. We went at a time when crowds were minimal. The view from our room, right on the lake, was stunning. The room has a larger than average room refrigerator/freezer, and was extremely clean. The mattress was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. Staff was friendly and helpful. A perfect choice for a long weekend in mid-October.

We arrived late and it took a minute to find the office in the dark, however, after hours check in was very easy once I found the office. Lots of ladybugs in our rooms but otherwise clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake and fall leaves from our porch in the mornings. Would absolutely stay here again.
