Our family had a fantastic time. Location of condo was perfect, right across from the pool. Condo was very clean. Very short drive to the beach. We loved our time there. Will definitely try to get the same condo next trip.

Great stay!

The place was perfect for our family. We are a family of 6, plus grandparents, and it was a very comfortable stay. We're always nervous taking a baby on vacation, but the place was very quiet and we weren't worried about neighbors hearing us also. Plus, access to the pool was right outside the door! It was the perfect stay for a little vacation.

We love Villages by the beach!

We have stayed at the villages by the beach every year for the last 4 years. We love the complex. This was our first stay in this end unit. 6 days/5 nights. Check in was at 4pm but wasn’t ready until 4:30. We didn’t receive any notice that the unit would not be ready when promised. I had to call the management company and ask when we would receive our code to enter our unit and was told the inspector was checking the unit for cleanliness. We saw the person leaving and it was the maid service, not an inspector. I feel that the maid was probably rushed after I called since the floor was not thoroughly cleaned and one bed had linens wrapped sitting on top of a bare mattress. I think with the fees we pay for cleaning, the floor could be cleaned better and bed be made. We found a broom in the washroom and swept but no dustpan to pick up the mess. I believe the unit accommodates 8 people but the furniture in the living area would not allow you to lounge comfortably. We are a family of 4 and the only comfortable seating was the couch. This unit needs an updated living room set. That aside , this end unit has the best access to the pool and to load and unload items from your parking spots. I would definitely book this unit again if I saw it had more comfortable seating in the living area. On an extra note there was a paper there that said to contact the property manager if we had any issues during our stay. I didn’t contact them because I don’t feel the furniture issues would have been fixed during our 5night stay.

Great location

We loved the area and location of our rental property and loved that the swimming pool was right outside our patio. The only thing we didn’t like too much was the doggie potty area was rocks and the teeny bit of grass was on a hill and full of stickers. Our fur baby didn’t appreciate that very much and his fur is full of stickers. Other than that, everything was perfect. Short drive to the beach as well.

Fun beach stay on No Padre Island

Our family enjoyed this beautiful, well-equipped end unit across from the pool. Even when the pool occupants were “lively”, it was nice and quiet inside the unit. Quick walk to the beach! And dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable, and great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on North Padre. This condo was very clean and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. The beds were comfortable. The condo was well equipped with items to cook and eat our own breakfasts. We enjoyed being right across from the gate to the swimming pool. The pools were comfortably warm and very nice. We also enjoyed the patio! We appreciated how close the beach is. We decided to drive and park on the beach because we had so much stuff to carry, but it was right around the corner. We would stay again.

Nice, spacious, great access to pool, short run to beach/boardwalk!

Nice property, cute condo, convenient parking, access to pool gate and grills. Short walk or run to beach and boardwalk but too far to haul a family and all the things you would need for a day at the beach so we still drove on and parked. Kitchen stocked with everything needed including new sponge, paper towels, trash bag, dishwasher and laundry detergent, extra beach toys in outside closet, linens crisp white and clean. Did find someone else’s hair in bathroom and kitchen drawer with utensils, dirty napkin under couch and the kitchen sink smelled like leftover fish that kind of lingered throughout the condo. Yuck. Also like I read in other reviews the couch and two additional side chairs are not comfortable at all for lounging and someone was always left sitting up at the counter to watch television. The bed and pillows were too firm for our liking so didn’t sleep great either. Additional comfy seating is highly recommended. Overall good stay with amenities and convenience but not super comfortable furnishings.

Great spot!

This place was amazing! Our only complaint would be the mosquitoes but that is most likely due to the standing water from hurricane Hanna. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Nice updated condo

The condo was great. No complaints, very well maintained and short walk to the beach. Because it was Memorial Day weekend, the pool was crowded and no one was monitoring their “no more than 21 people allowed in at any time” because of Covid. But we are beach people and didn’t use the pool anyway. I’m sure any other time it wouldn’t have been as crowded but this was a holiday weekend. We will rent this place again! Very satisfied.
