The hotel was the perfect location and choice for our Machu Picchu, Peru trip. The location, facilities were perfect. The staff, with their constant warm Peruvian smiles were amazing, they went above and beyond for us, tending to our every need. A lovely extra was when we visited the very cute and adorable baby alpaca called “Pancheta” who came to the hotel each day.

Unfortunately the front desk team told me (at check in and also at check out) that they would not report my points to Marriott earned for my stay because I did the reservation and paid through Expedia. Honestly speaking, they made me feel as if I had done bad. I think this was utterly wrong because Expedia works as a travel agent and Marriott receives my payment. Also, they did not give me any perk when checking in despute I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member
