Not sure what management has done to the staff at this hotel. You can sense when people are unhappy and hopeless. The worst example was at the bar on Thursday night. We wanted a light meal and cocktail before the show. We were given the impression we were imposing by doing so. The exception was the kitchen worker who brought out the sandwich and salad. He was enthusiastic and helpful, highlighting the crummy attitude of the bar staff. When I see this sort of thing being pervasive (the registration staff and valet staff had the same negative attitude) I believe it comes from poor management. You can inspire people or beat them down. It looks like hotel mgt has chosen the beat-down approach. Sad. The hotel has a brilliant lobby and atmosphere, though the rooms are obviously dated.

The room was clean and fairly large. Large hotel. Front desk didn't know which restaurants were open when we arrived, so they recommended one that was ultimately closed. Went to the bar-food is salty - very mediocre-do not recommend. Good drinks.

It was very nice. One strange thing is that we had no cold water in our room. So the cold water gave us warm water that was really warm and then the hot water was really hot. I love the towels.

Super friendly staff, beautiful room and city view (Atrium Tower 24th floor); great gym with view of the downtown from 3rd floor; great restaurants, grab and go, shops; facilitated a late checkout easily; and tunnel access to Reunion Tower, conference center, and Union Station. Awesome stay!!!

It was a very busy day. There was a cheer competition and the Dallas Christmas parade all on the same day. Our checkin was quick and painless. The staff was kind and courteous. We were in a room at the end away from the cheer kiddos so it was a comfortable and quiet night. Will stay again.

Checking into hotel was one of the worst experiences ever at a nice resort like Hyatt. We arrived late in evening, no one allowed to drop off luggage at front desk. Valet service was fully booked. We were told to go to south parking lot and enter through the tower location. It was at least a half mile walk to unload the car and enter hotel. The check in staff just said it was an unfortunate weekend due to cheer and dance team competition being held at the location. We would have never booked the hotel if we had been informed of the activity.

We had lunch at the cafe. The salad I had was very tasty. The lobby bar was so much fun on Thursday and Saturday nights. It was super busy both nights we were there. We walked to the touristy area with the museums and several places to eat. My work had our dinner at Crown Block and I was so happy it was connected to the hotel. We upgraded to a room on the 18th floor and the view was incredible. The beds were extremely comfy. Staying at the hotel was a great experience.
