Power outage

We checked in and then went to get something to eat. When we returned, the power was out. The door was open, with light shining from the desk. The attendant informed us that the lights were out and that we would need to use the stairs to get to our room, but our room key would still work. We asked how long the lights would be off, and she said they had been told it would be until about 1:30 AM. This was concerning because my mother used a cane and had to walk up the stairs. By the time she reached the top, she was exhausted. Given her health condition—she has congestive heart failure—it was difficult for her in the room with no air conditioning. She ended up coughing a lot throughout the night. No one could tell us if there would be any compensation for the inconvenience. After being up all night, we requested a late checkout but were told it would incur a $20 charge if we wanted to stay later. Ultimately, we decided to leave, but we felt there should have been some form of compensation for the power outage, especially considering my mother’s health needs. Our room was handicap accessible, indicating that we had specific requirements that were not met. When we inquired at checkout about compensation, we were told to call back on Monday to speak with management. Clearly, management had not provided the staff with proper guidance regarding the power outage or when the lights would be restored.

Very clean, comfy rooms. Brandon at the front desk was exceptional, not only at getting all three families their rooms in a timely manner, but also in making sure to say hello with a friendly smile every time he saw us. Great personality! Definitely will be coming back!

Property is in a great location but having to extend my trip for a extra night due to lights being out for hours was a very big disappointment I traveled hours and I did not like that situation and with this there was no compensation from the hotel due to the inconvenience I feel it’s bad business. Not a good policy

The hotel was great. I didn’t like when I asked for a noon checkout and they told me that that was only for Wyndham members. They wanted to charge me $20 so I didn’t do it. It did not seem like a good policy to me. I certainly didn’t feel like an appreciated customer.

Poor Service for 2 nights

I stayed there 2 nights and both nights there was no power. We were without power each night 4 plus hours. Then when asked about some type of partial refund for the inconvenience, we were told that we had to speak to the actual owner. To me right there, is very poor management, due to such an extreme that has to be taken. I do not recommend staying here. Why have such a great looking place with no type of backup plan(generator, authority to issue refunds, proper training to employees when something of this nature happens).

I confirmed twice we needed a pack n play "crib" and when we arrived man at front desk said "they didn't have any & never have before" i explained to him what it was & even website says they offer them... we slept with our 8 month old between us in our queen bed. #2 first thing we saw was a dead cockroach in middle of carpet. #3 bathroom had exposed screws where towel cubby came completely loose (luckily our baby is not walking yet) #4 power went out early morning for at least 5 hours due to a storm... i thought all hotels had generators for back up to keep guests accommodated? #5 staff leave their personal vehicles parked in drive threw blocking check in guests (my husband made a joke about the car & front desk guy said it was his) in conclusion we will NOT be returning or will be suggesting any LA QUINTAS ever.
