Overall fine, but needs fixing

The hotel was very hit and miss. The lobby and main areas looked very clean and well kept but we were disappointed to find the pool closed in June, considering I specifically looked for a hotel with a pool. Management did provide us with day passes for a pool at a nearby hotel to make up for it. In the room, our fridge did not work and the bathroom door was difficult to keep closed. Lastly the ice machine on our floor was not working, and the ice machine on the next floor smelled horrible, to the point that I decided to go buy a bag of ice instead.

We expected better

We've been to better places, that aren't as expensive. Over priced for what it was, for sure. We expected better. Paying $84/week for parking was a disappointment. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast was not good. The AC would only kick on if there was movement in the room, so sleeping with no AC running made for a hot night. The ice machine didnt work on our floor so we went where the sign told us to go and that one didn't work either, with no sign. There were strange smells, such as dirty mop water and sewage. Our shower didnt drain well. All in all, the waiters Al and Kennedy were great. Front desk was nice. But the hotel needs some work, it felt run down.
