The hotel was quiet and very well kept. The only thing is the location looked a little sketchy and I smelled weed one morning. When I walked out again, cops were everywhere. Only my daughter and I were in the area for some days, so it was kind of unnerving. Also, some weird people on bikes were hanging around one day. Overall, we would stay again because of price.

First interaction with room was a very loud squeaky door. Felt bad for rooms around mine especially when I was leaving at 430am. I went to put my food in fridge and it was full with 3 large styrofoam containers with old smelly food. The fridge and microwave were both dirty. Would not stay here again.

For the price of the hotel, you can not beat it. It was very affordable and the pool was nice. The location was close to a lot of the places we wanted to go and when we were at the hotel, it was very relaxing. I wish there was a bar, but a convenient store is right across the street and we were able to satisfy that need. Lol.

I had a great experience during my stay. The room was very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable — I slept better than I have in a while! The staff was friendly and check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was a nice bonus, with a good variety of options and everything fresh and tasty. The location was convenient, and I felt safe throughout my stay. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip."

Bowling Vacation

Bed was acceptable. Plenty of pillows. Linens were clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. No bathtub, just a shower, which was fine with me. Breakfast was good. Cleanliness was exceptional in this area. Some construction or renovations happening during my stay. Would recomend this hotel. Over all very satisfied with room and stay. Good resturants closeby. Not very far from downtown Baton Rouge.

How does this place have the rating it does?

Hallways filled with pot smoke, room looked like it was under construction , wall base falling off, light fixtures had paint by splatter on them, large pieces of debris in corners and under bed.

Everything was decent except the shower, the hallways and the steps. Shower had long black hair at the top of the walls where I'm assuming since staff couldn't reach so they didn't bother wiping. The halls and stairway could of definitely used a good vacuuming.
