Reservation canceled one hour before check-in!!!

I made reservations for two rooms 2 months prior to the date. My daughter and i flew in earlier than the rest of the family. My first reservation was fine. But one hour before checking in for the 2nd room which was for the rest of my family, i get a call that the hotel canceled my damn reservation! I immediately went to the front desk to find out what happened and explain my situation. But the hotel blamed hotels.com. so basically they pointed fingers at each other and neither could do a thing cuz there were no rooms available. My family couldnt be split up and because i was already in one room, it was too difficult to change hotels. So we ended up having to cram everyone in our room. Beds were way too soft. Mattress sunken in. Weird sticky dark substance on carpet in between beds in the walkway. Had to cover with tissue to mark the spot since it blended with carpet. There is a fridge but no microwave in room. There is no safe in room either just fyi. Worst experience ever!!!

The staff was super helpful. My travel deodorant ran out and the front desk gave me a few free travel size deodorant replacements. They were very helpful and the breakfast included with the stay is great.

Beds are extra comfy, the app lies

I got an email telling me to use the app to check-in then I'd get a digital key and could go right to my room. That sounded great! So I did that, and an hour after check-in I still didn't have a digital key and had to call the hotel to get my digital key. The app also promised that I could control my lights, temperature, and TV with it. I could not. I could use it as a basic remote control for the TV. Yay... I was extremely disappointed to find that the room had no microwave. Other than that the room was very comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on at a hotel. No lie. The shampoo smelled so good I actually used the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. I loved it, too! My hair was shiny and soft. So, that was neat.

It was an amazing experience especially Damien from front desk and Eli from the kitchen staff make us feel in home except for Lizbeth from front desk that wasn’t friendly at all.
