Iowa ski resorts

Everything was clean, tidy, and in good repair. Care has clearly been taken to maintain this beautiful historic hotel. Every employee we encountered was friendly and professional.

Very nice clean hotel. The only complaint would be was the pool was super chlorinated so we chose not to swim because it was so strong. Other than that , all was great

Beautiful and clean hotel. The staff was helpful and wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Had to pay $15 per day to park in the garage under the hotel. There were limited spots, so friends in our group had to park in a garage 3 blocks away in the “overflow” parking. Also we did not realize that this hotel is literally in downtown Iowa City right next to the campus, bars, etc. There were some loud young people staying in our hotel. If you are looking for that scene it is the perfect location.

The water park was a lot of fun. They have several arcade games at this hotel. The free breakfast on the second floor was great. The only negative thing about breakfast was, they didn’t have waffles. My kids love waffles. I personally enjoyed the scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits & gravy. They also had cereal & milk. The rooms were nice and spacious. Gorgeous view of the river from the 6th floor. They cleaning staff were amazing, helpful, and super friendly.

Room was in excellent condition.

The hotel staff was very helpful and the location was perfect.
