Quite a nice hotel. The bed was comfortable but the room needed updating. The windows did not fit properly so a lot of outside noise was heard, including the daily coaches very early in the morning. I thought my days of having a shower in a bath with a shower curtain clinging to me were over, but this hotel proved they weren't.

Overall a good hotel in historic building. Shower was annoying because it did not hold temperature and needed constant adjustment. Sink drained very slowly. I talked to the front desk but issue was not fixed even so they promised to do so.

Beautiful hotel. Food and service was fantastic and not overly expensive as you find in some hotels. Room was comfortable - The bed was wonderful, I had the best nights sleep. But the bathroom wasn’t great. The dispenser didn’t work on the toiletries provided and no toiletries are provided for a bath - only a shower. The plug chain on the bath tub had snapped too. All a little frustrating after a long days travelling. Location is great and the surrounding area is beautiful.

Staff very helpful,wife got a stomach bug could not have been more helpful offered to call the in house doctor if needed checked up on her during the day luckily she was fine the next day, the concern they showed was really impressive.
