Everything was great, thought it was weird you couldn’t bring your own food to the room, never seen that at a hotel before. Also thought it was weird you have to wear a swimming cap in the pool maybe that’s an Ireland thing but definitely thought it was weird and sort of a money grab.

Hotel was ok thanks to location (though noisy) but not worth price. May hsve once been a 4 star hotel but is outdated. Staff were excellent. The restriction of not being able to bring any drinks or food (including leftovers if you eat out away from hotel) is ridiculous, especially with grocer next door. I always keep bottle drink on stand next to me in case get thirsty.

Bedroom was large but old style bathroom Corridor carpets need a good clean as they are heavily stained. Needs decorating at least!!! Had to go down to reception twice to remind them to change broken kettle. Not a good greeting from delivery person. Her attitude was poor!!.

It's a very old hotel and no air conditioning. It was a fan in the room. There is a sign that says no outside food allowed. But the restaurant is open for a very limited time in the evening.

The pool/spa area was very clean. Staff was helpful. Area was very nice on on side but a little noisy on the other side. Restaurant/pub was very good. Within a hardy walk of City Center. I would stay there again.

When we first arrived, I did explain to them because of the Travel hours. I have booked an extra night and asked was a refund offered. The lady laughed at me and said I don’t think so not in a nice way at all. Secondly, going to our room was very dark and scary we were all the way in the back and lights didn’t come on till we were at our door felt unsafe. Open door to the rooms smelled like smoke the entire time we had to open our windows to get the smell out that didn’t help plus didn’t like having window opened. It was very dated place. Only one elevator working and only one restaurant available. The staff was pretty much nice and friendly if need be I would stay there again, but I would definitely need a different room. Add stated no smoking hotel. My husband had health issues so it was very difficult to stay in there Also be prepared that they don’t have normal US sockets and you’ll have to purchase adapters sockets if need be no way to charge your phone or anything like that. It was a very busy time so it seemed to be over priced for the stay.
