Hotel?? More like Hostel

Had the experience of staying here for two nights whilst attending a training course locally. I was drawn into the place by the pictures showing in your website. Firstly, you should be ashamed at allowing such inaccurate photos to be on your site. This “hotel” looks NOTHING like the pictures you have on your site. It’s run down, untidy with weeds growing all over the place. I should have known how it was going to be looking at the state of the stairs leading up to the room. The room itself was ok. Bed was quite comfortable but the pillows felt like they were stuffed with house bricks. I gave up on the TV. It had a 1980s proper aerial attached and I had to walk around the room with it plugged in the back trying to get a picture. The shower was interesting. The head needed to be pushed right up against the wall which resulted in the spray sort of towards you because if you tried to lower the spray angle the shower head would fall off the holder as it was too heavy! Breakfast was ok. A reasonable selection of hot and cold food. A couple of good points. The bed linen was nice and crisp and the towels were lovely and soft. Overall more of a hostel than a hotel and would definitely not stay here again especially at nearly £169 for two nights. Shame on you Hotels.com

The Barons Court Hotel was ok there was a few issues regarding as they didnt have a lift and i have a disability so i had to walk up the stairs. There was no hangers nowhere to put your clothes no safety bath mat in bathroom. The tiles in the bathroom unsafe need to be repaired. There was very little of the continental breakfast because there was no cold meats cheese, or fresh fruit..cooked breakfast was ok could of had more choice ie like chicken sausages, Egss benedict or a choice of different items ie like scrambled or poached eggs . I also think that the Barons court hotel could do with the cleaners to clean the ceilings ,windows and walls because i did see a lot of dirt cobwebs and debris on the ceiling and floor and on the window sills there was dirt and the chairs in the bedroom could do with a steam clean because it had marks on the seat i haven't been to hotel before and not wanted to stay there as on first appearances i wouldn't recommend this Hotel because i am so disappointed with the experience that I had if you want to you can compensate me it would be very much appreciated thanks M WAUGH CUSTOMER xx

First impression is terrible. Cigarette butts all over the floor by the entrance. Inside is grubby, musty, extremely dated, not very clean. There were family/friends of the receptionist loitering, one in particular drinking beer, belching and generally talking really loudly, his dog with him in the reception area too. My room was average, clean but dated. No point having a tv as there was no signal to watch anything.

Awful and not fit fir purpose

I am not a fussy person but this was awful. Access to the rooms was not secure, not keycard secure from the carpark, so anyone could come and go. Hallways smelled of marajuana. The window in the bedroom was not secure and opened onto a flat roof (which had some empty spirit bottles scattered), meaning somebody could climb out of there own window into ours. Some other guests appeared to be long term guests - more like a hostel than a hotel. When I shut the window, and came back into the room 20 minutes later, the room smelled like gas/burning and withing 10 minutes of being in the room I had a headache. The room had no ventilation and was uncomfortably warm. I took my son within an hour of checking in, and checked straight out. I told the receptionist the issues, who seemed apologetic, though not surprised with no offer to change the room or offer a refund.

This is not a hotel but a DSS hostel. Smell of weed in the corridors , shouting and loud music from rooms , TV and shower not working. Large dog in the reception area scaring the living daylights out of everyone. Much safer sleeping in the car. Seriously dodgy people hanging around the hotel all hours of the day. Avoid at all costs.
