Room was clean. Dishwasher was forgot to be run. No big deal, we ran it. Staff was wonderful, very knowledgeable and helpful! Location was great for reason for our visit to walk to Bentleyville.

Jodi, behind the desk, was a real gem! She is friendly, fun and full of information about Duluth and activities to do. The hotel is in a great location and perfect to walk to Bentleyville. It is convenient as it is connected to 2 restaurants. The breakfast is filling with enough choices. The suites could be updated, but there is plenty of room, with 2 bedrooms and two baths and comfortable king beds. I have stayed before and will again. I also appreciate the readonable rates!

Great hotel and location for those looking to explore Canal Park and Bentleyville (walking distance). We have stayed here a few times now and will continue to return. Kids loved the Hot Chocolate station! Our only complaint was that our room was not ready until 5pm (check in is at 4) and the room was freezing cold... We live in northern WI and are very acclimated to the cold, however, this was exceptionally cold for a hotel room. We had to use all extra pillows and couch cushions to block the window bases and outlets on exterior walls. Thermostat was turned all the way up but did not help.

The room was okay--hotel a bit dirty and dated, couldn't check in on time and had to come back a hour later (was already a late check in at 4 pm). They are having trouble keeping housekeeping staff and were trying, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Checked into the room and went to make coffee and there was a bottle cap behind coffee maker. Then went to put some drinks into the refrigerator and there was half a pizza inside. After those two issues looked and there was 3 weeks of dust on the refrigerator. When I called the front desk they made up excuses about the cleanliness and didn’t have any house keeping staff around to take care of it said I had to talk to the manager the next morning. The manager said there was nothing they could do because I had prepaid for the room through a third party. Don’t stay at this uncleaned place or you’ll get treated like the dirt itself

The price was right and the location was great to walk to Bentleyville Light Display and the Canal Park area. It was cold, so having the Old Chicago restaurant in the same building was a nice bonus. The suite was spacious and had more than we needed for this trip. Decor was very minimal, and the lighting was either glaring from overhead or minimal because of a lack of lamps. But overall it was a good stay.
