Close to the water front. Was enjoyable with numerous places to eat. The only reason some of the review didn’t receive a full 5 stars was because the pool & hot tub were out of order due to previous guests damaging it.

The hotel room is gigantic and has many industrial finishes (the entire hotel is built in an old Duluth warehouse, right in the heart of the waterfront plaza full of eating, breweries and night life! Hotel parking lot was full of cars that did not have parking permits, probably going to get towed however we had to wait around to get a spot. Receptionist was super friendly and pleasant. Lots of patrons were staying because of weekend weddings, so mixed clientele of families and couples.

Always our go to stay in Canal Park in Duluth! Breakfast is standard hotel fare, room was clean and bed was comfy. Staff were cordial, not overly friendly.

I went out of the hotel early in the morning (5:45) and there was someone sitting on the steps inside the entrance to the hotel, shooting up. I felt nervous walking past him and wondered if he would follow me out. I was nervous going back in wondering if he would still be there. No hotel staff or anyone else was around.

We always enjoy staying at this property. The rooms are clean and fresh with fluffy towels. The beds have a variety of pillows to chose from to insure a wonderful nights rest. The large rooms make it feel as if you're in your own apartment. The suites have full-size frig, dishwasher, microwave, and stovetop make our stay so easy and efficient. Having access to kitchen supplies come in handy when we need a plate or paper towels etc. Canal Park is so easily walkable we have a wonderful time finding new sights, things to do, or places to eat.

Check-in went so quickly and easily. Friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and nice and beds were very comfortable. Lots of places to eat within a short walking distance. Breakfast was great, though a suggestion would be to put the wafflemakers towards the end of the line as it created a backup of people waiting at the beginning of the line. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was very good. We had 2 rooms gave 2 of us the larger room, family of four was put in small room. No sheets for pull out sofa & chair in room, had to ask. Gave us sheets but told they were out of blankets. Had trouble opening room door with card even though green light. Nice pool area & hot tub.
