Great atmosphere throughout. We were upgraded to a featured room. A surprise bathroom behind the wardrobe. Great powerful shower. Love everything. The only thing is missing is a small fridge.

I probably got the noisiest room on the 1st floor by the main road. Bed was comfortable. windows were not clean to view outside! Old style amenities but doable. On the positive side- Staff was really friendly and helpful. Location was great for easy access to town centre, train station etc.

Okay but very corporate and a disgrace you have to pay £15 to park in their carpark overnight. Ridiculous it’s £16 each for breakfast or £29 for room service breakfast for one?? Drinks extortionate - £16 for small wine and a pint??? Get a grip folks! Wetherspoons is just the other side of the bridge - greed will be your downfall

Actually, the only week link of the entire state was the breakfast buffet. Items not hot. Fresh fruit embarrassingly limited. Coffee was great. And the staff excellent.

the stay at the hotel was good

When on route to the hotel the lady answering the phone was amazing. The hotels location is really good. Upon check I was told tea, coffee, biscuits and water is complimentary. My invoice shows for 2 small bottle I was charge 2.95 each! Won’t be staying with county hotel again or its chain partners like the Vermont!
