Was in a good location right opposite the train station. We were there for sam fender event. It was clean and somewhere to lay your head. Check in went quickly despite the lengthy queue. The furniture was dated and the bed and pillows were not very comfortable so i didnt sleep well the room was like a furnace , luckily there was a fan which did cool the room abit. Lovely staff on duty for breakfast and the breakfast was not too bad (couldve been a bit hotter) I dont feel it was worthy the very inflated price

Excellent stay - hotel so handy for arriving by train! Public areas were lovely - nice breakfast restaurant and lounge bar. Breakfast itself was great. Room was lovely and clean, on the smaller side but very well appointed and we had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Reception was very curt and unpleasant at check in. Room had so many warnings about water being too hot, keep bathroom door shut or steam will set off fire alarm, etc that it made showering a nightmare. Tub will fill in 60 sec and you will pay for flooding damages. I have long hair. Breakfast was buffet. Not a fan of buffets. Chose for location and parking. Tried to double charge us for food at checkout.

Staff very polite and friendly. Hotel lovely and clean comfortable bed. Only down side was the room temperature no air con and the plug in fan we had was so noisy . Obviously due to the location it’s not possible to have the windows open for the noise on the street
