Very convenient location. Nice layout and amenities but I was only told that slippers were only available for larger rooms. Otherwise everything was great. The walls are a little thin and you can hear pretty much everything in the hallway but it’s pretty quiet in general.

The room we stayed at was quite modern, spacious and relaxing. Staff members were super-friendly. The only thing was that there’s no microwave that if I remember correctly was said to be there, but it was ok. Also the location is quite convenient. You can easily access to the centre of the city as well as picturesque Dean Village.

Eden Locke is a great place to stay. Its an apartment hotel located in a great spot. Its close to dining, shopping and grocery stores. Loved the fact that if you just wanted a quiet time in, all the utensils and appliances were there. We loved it.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I visit Edinburgh regularly from the U.S. and this is now my favorite place to stay. Thoughtful touches, kind staff, great coffee shop downstairs, walking distance to my favorite restaurant (Baba, it’s amazing, just go), local shops…you really just can’t go wrong. Pop down to Tesco, load up your kitchen, and enjoy your space. Do laundry in your room before you leave. I could go on and on. This will be my go-to from now on, I’m obsessed.

Excellent apartment to spend 3 days in beautiful Edinburgh. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cafe at the front did a yummy chai latte. Huge choice of eating options in waling distance. Was an easy walk from the train station and other sites, or the public bus was only a street away. Wish I could have stayed longer

Home away from home! Loved the area- within walking distance to everything we wanted to do, and easy access to bus and tram if needed. No need to pay a fortune for transfers to/from the airport with the bus stop a block away. Close to a grocery store and had everything we needed in our little suite to cook our own meals. Loved that we could even do our own laundry during our stay. Cute, cozy, super clean, and sooo comfortable. Definitely recommend it!

Girls Trip

I booked Eden Locke for a weekend in Edinburgh to see Moulin Rouge with a friend. We wanted to treat ourselves as we both have 2 year olds so I feel like we found the diamond in the rough with this hotel, it is so understated from the outside. The aesthetic at reception/bar area is very relaxing and cool. The rooms were amazing, I always love when you walk in and there is a scent, its fresh and inviting. There was plenty of storage space for clothing and everything you could need in the kitchen area. We loved our stay and can't wait to return.
