A couple of minor housekeeping issues ( no extra rolls to TP and did not replace coffee cups). Staff at desk were very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff kept it spotless, and all reasonable requests were accommodated. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a good blend of cold and warm offerings. And the location is perfect, in old town and a short walk to the Royal Mile.

Staff in this hotel are excellent, they are very helpful and go the extra mile. The room we stayed in was okay but the bathroom really needs refurbished. The breakfast was nice, but not exceptional. You get what you pay for I suppose.

We had an overall excellent stay due to staff’s outstanding service and how central the location is from Waverley train station to center of town it’s was all within walking distance (use Google Maps) and we are in our 50s! Be aware that the beds are very very firm so if you’re a side sleeper as 80% of the world is, you will need to up your stretching game the next day. Also, towels are a bit on the darker side of white, in dire need of replacement. Still, great value for the price.

It was okay, problem on tv remote twice. Report about remote twice. Stand lamp is not working, staff bring another one stand lamp. Wall light is not working off and on. First day, we won't be happy miss out clean our 210 room. Breakfast meal is not warm enough on the trays. I used microwave, warm up. It was disappointed. We won't go back again. Beautiful old town in Edinburgh.

Leaking water in bathroom. Outlets loose. Water did not drain in shower. No refrigerator in room. Small room. Breakfast was decent. Good location to the Royal mile which has all the shops and restaurants.
