The airport bus dropped us off at Waverly Bridge which is right around the corner from the hotel. Upon check in I was given glass of champagne and because length of stay a cork for 2 more glasses anytime during my stay. Complimentary mini bar also a plus. My only comment would be the restaurant as I went up for breakfast without a reservation. If they are busy you might not get a seat but Cockburn Street is right there with many options along with Gordon St Coffee

Absolutely the most wonderful hotel we’ve stayed at on our trip. Everything was topnotch and there are so many fine details to discuss. Treats galore, the best rain shower ever, superior location and quiet super clean modern rooms are a great way to start with. They set a bar for the town. Cheers!

Great hotel and has an amazing bar over looking city. The hair dryer and straightener in room! So amazing !!! The bed is very very cozy! Sate place ! Coffee shop next door and the restaurant to the left is very good and great drinks! Everything is great except: beds are SMALL (full at best. Here is the main negative... the stairs!!! Anytime you go to the main areas at all to eat or tour it is a LONG LONG staircase up every time! Seriously it is a deal breaker! Inwould stay in a hotel up higher much higher. We are in shape but geez these are the most stairs ever! BE WARNED the stairs are a lot!!!!! Brings my review done from 5 star to 3 star LOCATION!

The accommodations are lovely. First and foremost is the staff. We were greeted with attentiveness, friendliness, and champagne! The location is very central, near Waverly Train Station which separates Old Town from New Town. We took a train to Pitlochry for a couple of days, and the hotel was even kind enough to hold our luggage for us while we were gone. This may well be our new favorite place to stay in Edinburgh in the future. Highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Market Street Hotel! The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. When I left something very important back at the room, they did everything they could and figured a way to get it back to me before I headed back home to the states. Phenomenal experience and perfect location. I highly recommend Market Street Hotel for your next stay in Edinburgh.
