The Bonham is a beautiful hotel. The Victorian features, the cosy Christmas lights, and the warm welcoming staff (epitomised by Lukas) made this stay magical. Looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful boutique hotel, but …. King bed too hard for both me and partner - which was a shame because others the room was lovely. The dining room was closed for our visit which wasn’t advertised, and the hotel isn’t particularly close to other restaurants. We only found out when I tried to book a table, so a lack of communication.

This is a beautiful property. The location was just far enough off the tourist areas and yet walkable to everything you might want to see. It was five star in every respect. The staff was excellent, friendly, accommodating and efficient. We ended staying there twice during our visit. We had two different room types booked and both were excellent.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The air freshener that was infused in the hotel triggered my allergies. The toilet ran constantly and the room #5 they gave us seem to be under a high traffic area and we heard foot steps all night. The decor was beautiful and very well done. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

Timeless elegance…

A beautiful, elegant, traditional Scottish townhouse hotel. A quiet oasis ideally situated in Edinburgh’s New Town, 5 minutes walk from the West End. Very helpful staff, lovely bar and restaurant and a great breakfast. You will want to return again and again. We certainly do.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful area

Absolutely beautiful room and experience! The staff are very kind and professional, and the room was a dream! We had gorgeous views out to Leith, a very comfortable bed, lovely sitting areas, and an exceptional bathroom full of amenities and luxury. The breakfast was delicious, both the hot options and the buffet. Would recommend completely! We had an easy walk into town, but the hotel felt quiet and away from the bustle.
