Convenient location with excellent room

Place was clean, friendly staff and SUPER convenient- just across the street from airport tram- great restaurants! Rooms were clean and spacious. Everything was ideal!

We slept well and it was very quiet. However, check-in was a huge disappointment. The man checking us in was quite rude and although we arrived late, we were told our room wasn’t ready with no explanation as to why. When we got in our room it was dirty - the shower was filthy and there was no tissues. Very disappointed.

We loved the location, 5 minutes from Princes Street! Also the hotel was beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious and the facilities great. If you don’t need housekeeping, you get a voucher for a free drink! The staff are friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile! We didn’t use the restaurant as we ate out, but the bar was welcoming and cosy. We would definitely stay again!

Staff very friendly and professional. Room was clean and a good size. Liked the option of a drinks voucher in exchange for not cleaning room everyday of visit. Because of age of building there were stairs to negotiate between floors which might be an issue for some people. Loved our stay here.

Luxury honeymoon stay

We had an absolutely amazing stay. We told the hotel that we had booked for our honeymoon. We arrived and they upgraded us to a suite on the top floor with free prosecco in the bar. The room was huge with an amazing bathroom and a bath in the bedroom. Great selection of tea/coffee/biscuits/fererro rocher too. We liked the option of being eco and skipping cleaning the room during our stay and earning a free drinks voucher. Cocktails in the bar were delicious and the decoration gave the bar a cool vibe. Breakfast was fantastic. Great range and top quality ingredients. The hotel was perfectly located to enjoy all aspects of the city on foot and the tram stop from the airport is right outside too. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. We will definitely be back to more Malmaison hotels.
