The staff in the morning during breakfast are welcoming and the food variety was good. The staff work very hard to ensure everyone is looked after. There was always a smile.

Good hotel that was well run. Staff very efficient at breakfast especially. Would have been nice to have had 2 double beds rather than one double and a sofa bed as we were asked for ages of our children at booking and they are in their teens so sofa bed was very small. We did leave towels off the floor to save daily cleaning, but they were still cleaned which is a shame as we are keen to minimise environmental impact and cost.

We couldn't have asked for a better location, a cleaner room, or better staff! Breakfast was great, and we enjoyed the food and drinks in the restaurant at night! Just an overall great experience for our first trip to the lovely Scotland!

Great Location and great value

Very helpful staff at a nice hotel in an excellent location. Lots of breakfast options from pastries and fruit to a full hot breakfast. Close to tourist attractions and some excellent restaurants.

We stayed here for four nights, it’s a bit out but great transport links and lots of restaurants and bars near the old shore. The staff were really helpful, the room was lovely, beds and pillows really comfy. The free breakfast was amazing, lots of options. Would deffo stay here again.

Gone down hill. Free parking no longer exists. Breakfast was below par. No fried eggs bacon really salty and the tomatoes not consistent good. Asked for a pint got half. Use as a base but would not buy a evening meal from there. Shower not very powerful and lift so slow. Staff friendly enough.

Ok for a business trip

Staff were helpful and friendly, room was reasonably comfortable. The area was quite nice ans not too far from Edinburgh centre. Overall it was pretty good.

Room and bed very comfortable. Problem with heating, but fan heater provided for our stay and heating programme reset which worked at times. Breakfast excellent and staff very welcoming. Opted to pay for parking at hotel but could have parked free across the busy road. Evening meal taken in hotel on our second night was good. Very little atmosphere in Ocean Terminal other than the RoyalYacht Britannia which is not to be missed.
