Fantastic Stay at Virgin Hotel Edinburgh! My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at Virgin Hotel Edinburgh! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by its stunning design and inviting atmosphere. The common spaces were chic and vibrant, making every moment enjoyable. Our room was elegant, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches. The bar and restaurant were superb—the cocktails were expertly crafted, and the food was outstanding. The staff’s warmth and attention to detail made our stay even more special. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We can’t wait to return!

From the moment we checked in at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh, the experience was flawless. The hotel boasts a chic and quirky decor, especially the Funny Library, which adds a unique charm. Our room was not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable, complete with heated floors and a stunning view of Edinburgh Castle. The bathroom setup was convenient, with separate rooms for the toilet and shower, plus a makeup desk in between which was a thoughtful touch. The concierge, James, was exceptionally helpful, giving us personalized recommendations and even assisting with restaurant reservations. His attentive service, including the welcome prosecco, made our stay even more memorable. The hotel's location in Old Town is perfect for exploring the city's historic sites. Cleanliness (except for the calcification on the teapot sieve) and service were top-notch throughout our stay, making Virgin Hotels Edinburgh a definite recommendation for those seeking a mix of luxury and local flavor in Scotland's capital. The only negative that happened was that our room was really hot the first day and night. I spoke with someone at the front about it on our way out the second day, and they had it fixed by the time we were back to our hotel room.

Great location! Wonderful hotel with kind and attentive check in staff and concierge. My only complaint was the lack of attentiveness at their restaurant Eve. I ordered a drink from two different wait staff and never received it. Our original waiter completely disappeared. The food was great though. I would still recommend this restaurant with the hope that maybe it was just an off night

Fabulous Hotel. Staff were amazing from when we pulled up and helped us with bags to when we left days later. Hotel itself was beautifully decorated and the rooms had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and I got a fantastic sleep after huge days of sightseeing. Only down side is no parking (the car park is a public car park down the hill about ten minutes walk, but this is normal for the area). Highly recommend.

Couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate my birthday. The beds were incredible after a long day of walking uphill and climbing flights of stairs. The staff was excellent and decorated my room for my arrival. The location was great and we frequented Blank NYC coffee as it was next door to the hotel. Be prepared for some noise as the hotel is next to a bar full of university students. The noise can carry well into the hours of 3-4am.
