Virgin Hotel Edinburgh was excellent. Located close to most attractions and restaurants. The chamber room with terrace was spacious and unique.Only con was the long trek with bags up stairs and long corridors to get to the room as there was no direct access. Overall this is an exceptional hotel with great service. We will definitely visit again.

The hotel is amazing! So fun with a superb location. Staff very accommodating. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom set up is not ideal, but were clean and functional.

Lovely hotel in the old town area of Edinburgh. Beware that the regular king rooms are even very small - barely space on the floor for a suitcase. Staff was great though and location cannot be beat.

This is a very well run, busy hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. Easy walking distance to everything. Super helpful and pleasant staff. The rooms were exactly as presented in the pictures—really nice. The food in the Commons restaurant was top-notch. Highly recommend it. Only drawback was lack of storage in the rooms for a longer stay.

The hotel has beautiful and modern design, great convenient location in the old town, within a walking distance to the castle and the Royal mile. However, the rooms are extremely small almost claustrophobic. The photos on the web are very deceptive giving the impression of spacious rooms. Otherwise, the bed was very comfortable, the amenities were nice but minimal.

It is 1 street off the royal mile. Not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. The bathrooms are terrible. It’s like the bathrooms on a cruise ship room. when you enter the rooms the sink is right at the door and there’s a separate toilet room with no sink and shower stall, very inconvenient. Very little amenities in the rooms. It does not have a grand hotel feel whatsoever. If you arrive in a car the place you have to park is far away especially at night time. Of course they’ll valet but it’s over $50 extra American!
