First of all, there was NO HOT WATER. could not take a shower or even shave for a week. TV did not work,fridge needed to be defrosted 3 months ago, dripped water on the floor and on the inside. Called the owner and they sent a wannabe plumber ( high school student) who had no clue.I would never rent again.

The villa was very clean and we loved the pool. The proximity to the beach was nice.

Beach view was amazing. Parking close to property and safe. Pool could be cleaner but overall good.

Beautiful area but my stay was not what we anticipated! #1 Our room was ground level water dripped in us as we entered and exited room. Saw mold above room which worried me due to my husbands chronic asthma.

We had a wonderful stay at Serena Boutique Hotel in Aguas Buenas and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Puerto Rican experience. From the moment we arrived, Ricardo made us feel incredibly welcome. He was always around the property, working hard to keep everything running smoothly and making sure guests were comfortable. His wife, Gloria, was also wonderful—she prepared fresh breakfast every morning, and it was always delicious. One of the things we loved most about this place is how tucked away it is. It’s far from the busy city areas, which makes the experience feel unique and authentic. Even the drive there feels like you’re stepping into a different side of Puerto Rico. The property itself is beautiful, and you can really see how much care Ricardo puts into maintaining it. If I could give one tip to future guests, it would be to rent a car if possible. If you stay out late in San Juan or other areas, it can be very difficult to get a Lyft or Uber to drive up to the property, as many drivers decline the trip. Ricardo is very kind and willing to help, but since it’s a small family running the hotel, we didn’t want to bother him late at night. The only small thing we noticed was that some of the tiles could be a little slippery, especially since it rained quite a bit during our stay. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Accommodating host! Condo was comfortable, clean, inviting, and in a truly wonderful location! My family and I had an epic vacation, and will be visiting again in the near future.
