AC unit sounded like a freight train

This was a last minute stay because we were evacuated from our first hotel due to carbon monoxide leak. We were only there for about 12 hours. The free breakfast was really good, and the bed was comfortable. The lobby was much nicer than the actual room, but it filled our needs at the time.

Thermostat in the room did not work properly with resoect to changing the temperature settings. Fridgerator did not get cold and the door was messed up kept hitting the floor when opening it. I literally froze all night because was not able to turn the heat on. Complained to desk person and was not offered another room. Will not recommend this place to anyone!!!

As I was walking into the shower, the floor tiles were moving like if they were going to come undone. Other than that, the staff was amazing, the bed was comfortable. Would stay again.

We loved the shuttle to and from the El Paso airport. Our check in was excellent and even though we were early, the front desk clerk gave a complimentary upgrade to get in our room. Restaurant was handy and both evening meal and morning buffet were great. Our room temp was less than acceptable. No matter what we did to turn off fan, it kept blowing cold air. I changed AC to heat and still had issues. I tried raising the temp and it only move up by one degree. It was late evening and we didn't want hassle to change room or have maintenance come in, but we finally turned off the unit. The blower still kept blowing cold air. The room was 61 in the morning. I'm glad we checked out early.

First room we got was full of hairs, on the counter next to the TV and the the bed full of hairs, they did give us another room, but it just made us feel uncomfortable staying there.

Room had a broken bathroom door that didn't close (left a 1 and a half inch gap) due to being warped. Tub drain broken (part was left on the tub edge by previous occupant). Safey latch on room door barely handing on with loose screws. All of that was easily viewable by cleaning staff, so I'm wondering why no one is fixing it. Took repeated attemps with access card to enter room, every time. This all said, the staff was excellent, very friendly and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hotel lobby.

Water needed as beverage during breakfast but not offered. Had to walk to lobby. Water in tub overflowing during shower and not draining. Front desk number always busy. Had to walk up for clean towels. Bed sheet dirty.

The shuttle service is a huge plus! The staff was courteous, and the hotel clean and well kept. The only negative was having to walk outside to the back section of rooms, but at least it wasn't too far.

Unfortunately, my room was not in good condition. In particular, the bathtub spewed out black mold like lumps when I turned on the water to take a bath. Unfortunately, I was standing in the tub and got the dirty water on my lower legs and now they seem to be itching. Also, the water never drained overnight and the bathroom stunk in the morning. I can still smell the smell even though I am not home in Virginia. I did report the problem to management and they assured me that maintenance would work on the issue today. However, I would assume this was an on-going problem, which is not heartening. What I did like about the property was the three minute walk to the terminal in the morning.
