The staff here was incredible- such a warm welcome and a warm goodbye. The room was pretty bare- it definitely didn't feel like a cozy stay, but we had sufficient bedding, towels and hot water. We spent one night, just to stop and see the Statue of David. I can't imagine spending more time in the room- it was quite bare and not set up for much lounging. But it was steps away from the museum, and steps away from the train. Perfect location, and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and kind.

The building smells like sewer, the smell climb through the pipe to the shower drain and the entire room was smelly all the time. They just take cash and said that post was broken. The first day, they did not turn on the hot water so I had to take a very cold shower, may be 8 degrees Celsius. It was an unpleasant experience.

Very convenient to the central tourist area. Easily walkable to most things. Room was small as we didn't use the small loft. Shower was very small and the door did not work very well. Check-in is at the Hotel Venito, which is a short walk away. That hotel is easier to find than where you will actually stay. Overall, fine for our purposes.

Awful!

Spent 45 minutes looking for the hotel, a paser by told me that reception was in a diferent hotel. The pics are of a diferent place, room smeled terrible, no heating, the showeris so small could not use it.terrible,terrible hotel

This stay was a little different only because we are spoiled to updated amenities. BUT it was a very quant room weather was beautiful and the staff was AMAZINGLY helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

A quiet stay among quaint streets

It was interesting being in an apartment-type of set-up. However bathroom was small and cramped with no proper shower tray so water flowed out. There was a bidet.

Very Bad Experience

Because of train service problems, our train arrived late so we lost our connection to Florence. Next day early in the morning we arrived and the staff told us we had lost the right to our room, despite having been already paid, so they told us to wait until noon because they had already rented the room. The staff treated us bad and with rude gestures and language they told us to wait until noon, because the room was still occupied and after a long bitter discussion they agreed to give us the room for us to rest at 10 AM. When we finally got the room, there were mosquitoes in it and the TV was as small as an iPad.
