The hotel staff and services went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The food and service at happy hour and breakfast were amazing! The room bed was a little worn but overall an amazing experience. We would definitely go back!

This was a last minute find and so so happy with the hospitality we received from Leonardo We felt like we were staying in a castle. Located so close to Ponte Vecchio. Quiet nights sleep. They had wine at 7 for everyone , breakfast in the morning and tea time in the afternoon. Would stay here again

Great hotel!

No getting around that first flight of stairs, but the hotel is worth it! Very clean & beautiful. The staff goes above & beyond! The happy hours & breakfasts are excellent & there’s a wonderful restaurant right across the street. I loved this place!

We stayed in two different rooms at the beginning and end of our trip - we liked one more than the other but that is part of the unique aspects of a boutique hotel in an old building in Florence. Staff is friendly and helpful (Leonardo!), breakfast was very good and it's a prime location to walk to everything in Florence.

Wonderful hotel! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Always greeting us, giving us suggestions & assistance for seeing Florence. The location is close to all the big sightseeing locations as well as restaurants. They provided breakfast, afternoon snack & happy hour daily included with the room. You do have to climb a flight of stairs to enter the lobby but bags will be brought up for you. The room was spacious for 3 people and very clean. Highly recommend!

We had a brilliant time at the Davanzita. The hotel was refurbished earlier this year so our room was very well appointed and fresh. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to visit, dine, etc. They started having a Happy Hour so their clients could have a chat and discuss what they had done during the day, giving ideas to other people now other hotels have taken this on-board. Their breakfasts were absolutely lovely too. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would readily go there again.

The only negative: room 208 was very noisy at night until at least 2 am. We were there on a Monday and Tuesday night. There was a bar or restaurant near enough that we could hear the loud talking, laughing, occasional yelling.

Excellent stay just blocks from the Duomo!

Excellent stay for 3 nights in this recently renovated hotel in the heart of Florence! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially Leonardo at the front desk. Room was more than spacious for two of us with a very comfortable king bed and daybed and very clean. Breakfast was included with our room and was more than adequate with meats, cheeses, breads and croissants, pastries and espresso/cappuccino/coffee made to order. Davanzati also has a tea in the afternoon as well as a cocktail hour with complementary wine and beer. Was a nice start to our evening out! Location is excellent just a few blocks walk to the Duomo and all other Florence sites, museums, markets and restaurants (La Grotta Guelfa around the corner was excellent!). Note that the hotel entrance is up a flight of stairs from street level where you can then take the elevator up to the lobby. Highly recommend Hotel Davanzati!
