Compare Ski Hotels in Fontana Dam

Staff was courteous and allowed us to check in an hour early, which was very nice. However, there were several issues with the room. The bathroom door didn't properly fit and you had to forcefully pull it closed, which was extremely loud to both open and close. Also, the in-room alarm was previously set, which woke my wife up at 3 a.m. and she had to figure out how to turn it off in the middle of the night. But the biggest problem was the smoke alarm, which started doing three-chirps at 4 a.m. every 10 minutes. I called the "24 hour front desk" four times between 4 and 6 with no answer any time. We finally just left and dropped off the key to the empty off drop box at 6:30. That gent who checked us in was pleasant and the welcome bag was a nice touch, but we won't be staying here again.

Great room. Great atmosphere. Clean room and hot tub. I had the perfect time and it was my birthday!

Staff was not very friendly. Maybe because they were on smoke break right outside the main doors when we arrived and we interrupted their smoking. The next staff member was abrupt when I asked for conditioner for my hair. I was informed they didn’t provide that except during their busy season. The bed was only a little better than laying on bricks. I’ve never slept on a harder mattress in my life! No fridge or microwave in the room. This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed that didn’t provide these. Other than the overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke at the front door, the hotel appeared to be clean.

The view is so nice and the room is super clean and new!! Will come back again!
