Beautiful Home

Absolutely love this place, we hated to leave. The pictures they have posted are good, but the home is so much more. The house is just stunning and the hosts are excellent communicators. There is plenty of space for multiple families. Location is convenient, just a short walk to the sea wall or a quick drive to the strand. Great home and when available we will book this place again.

House Filled with Character

This is a beautiful house filled with character. There's plenty of room for family and close to Galveston activities. The sceened-in porch was my wife's and daughters happy place. Highly recommended the house for families.

LOVED this house

This home is wonderful. It’s even better than the photos. We love the architecture, the decor and pretty much everything about it. Everything in the house was easy to use and worked and it had everything we needed. The location is awesome... a about a 3-5 drive minute from the beach and Pleasure Pier. We hope to stay in this same house when we go back to Galveston.

Perfect Galveston Getaway

What a wonderfully restored, thoughtfully stocked home. Every single person in our family absolutely loved this house. The AC was cold on both floors, the kitchen was outfitted beautifully, and the owners even provided hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. Every part of this house was comfortable and beautiful.

We loved it. We would stay here again. I felt like I was staying in someone's home instead of a rental. It was very comfortable. The weekend we were there was very windy and overcast so we didn't spend as much time at the beach as we expected but Galveston has plenty of other things to do. All the furniture was comfortable, including the beds. I did see comments about the rooms upstairs being open to each other so I was a little concerned about that but it worked out fine. Each room had a door into the hallway that latched (not locked) and each interior door that connects the rooms doesn't latch but has a door stop to hold the door closed. The description states that two cars will fit in the driveway and being this is Texas and lots of people drive larger vehicles I want to note that my husband's 4door, long bed truck fit snuggly in the driveway with barely enough room to close the gate. Two normal sized cars will fit fine with the gate open. Just something to keep in mind if your party has multiple vehicles especially larger ones. We rented a golf cart and parked that in the driveway with the gate closed and two trucks on the street. Street parking didn't seem to be an issue, we comfortably parked two trucks in front of the house each day and there was room further down the street if we had needed it. We stayed with our adult children and all of them said they would stay there again.

We came for my son’s graduation weekend from TAMUG. It was a perfect central location from the school and restaurants/shopping. The house is decorated well and even had Christmas decorations. We couldn’t have been more pleased.
