Overall outdated inside room. Bathroom had a soft wet spot in wall not close to shower. The lighting in bathroom and kitchen were really bad and outdated the space. Pillows had a strong chemical smell. Ants were along the floor entering the front door. Toilet sits very low. Shower pressure was also very low. Lucky we were just using for a place to sleep and not enjoy. Balcony was good. The back patio had three fire tables and none of them worked, were out of propane. Was going to sit in the morning with our coffee but was disappointed. We have stayed here before several years back and was in an updated room. Paid more for a better view this time and was an older unit. Staff was nice. Vending machine in main lobby only had one choice of chips as well.

Location is great to experience a lot within walking distance, checking in was easy, and our room was really spacious for a double queen room, but the maintenance is slacking. The refrigerator had been unplugged at some point and had mold growing in it, the toilet clogged and we ended up having to buy a plunger because no one ever came, even though they were informed multiple times. Kids were disappointed that only one of the two pools that are advertised was open, but they still enjoyed the one they could. Overall it was ok and I enjoyed our stay

Nice facility. Balcony was not really a balcony, more like a side walk connecting rooms that elevated from parking lot. Price is very reasonable. Room was clean. Need updated a little. All and all very good.

We enjoyed our stay very much and so did our pup . Very clean and beds were comfortable, great location close to everything. Only bad thing I would say is parking is tight and hard to fit larger vehicles.

The room was clean, the mattress was AMAZING, but the AC wasn't cold enough. The location was close to perfect if you just want to park and walk to all the resturants and attractions!!! One pool was closed, but the open pool was extremely clean and peaceful.

The location of River Terrace is really good! It saves on paying for parking because it's only a block over from the Parkway. The "resort" itself is a little outdated. But....for the deal that I got, I could see past that. Now...the door that leads to the adjoining room had no way of locking to prevent the "neighbor" from coming into my room. Not sure if the neighbor's door was permanently locked or not. If the neighbor door was not permanently locked, they had very easy access to your belongings!!! I would stay at River Terrace again but possibly request a different building.

These rooms were not worth what we paid for them. One stunk so bad from the carpet and the other had mold, was dirty, and the mini fridge was warm. We also expected to be water front and were not.

Staff was friendly and polite, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I wasn’t happy with the breakfast choice, not much to choose from, best is to go eat breakfast else where. Over all, it was a good stay for only a couple of days.

River Terrace is an older property, but the room was clean and the bed was comfy. There was not enough lighting in the room. We had to ask for clean towels and coffee packets each day. It is, though, very convenient to all of downtown Gatlinburg.
