The check-in process was perfect and they allowed an early check-in as we were attending a wedding at Bristol. Upon return from the wedding we realized our toilet was broken and immediately called down. The lady, while sweet, told us not to worry it happens to her all the time just hold down the handle. We went the entire night with a broken toilet. We woke up early to the sound of drilling so assumed there was a maintenance person working. The front desk said that one would not be working until 9am. We went to breakfast but didn’t stay long as the options and look of items were less than desirable. Coffee was good, location of the hotel was ideal and the place was clean so not all bad! Just super stressful having a toilet that didn’t flush after consuming beverages all night while attending a wedding.

Clean and close to venue

Fast check in even on a busy concert day. Front desk staff were very helpful. They have a phone number for someone that can drop you off/ pick you up from venue otherwise walk if you can. Very clean and comfortable room. Nearby restaurants and breweries.

Charged twice for the room

There was confusion during check in and was told the card used on hotels.com was not processing and then had me give another card. Now I have 2 room charges on 2 separate cards and the hotel has been extremely unhelpful with getting this resolved despite hotels.com customer service reaching out on multiple occasions and providing photos of the dual charges. Avoid this hotel. Plenty of others close by.

Double booked rooms

The desk clerk Amber informed me that i double booked rooms through Hotels.com for this stay. Not sure how this happened. I only intended to book one room. She instructed me to cancel one of the bookings and Holiday Inn would not charge Hotels.com for the cancelled room. Thank God Amber caught this and was able to help me out. Now i have to see if Hotels.com will refund my money.
